Hey guys this is my first fanfiction i hope you like it.
All was silent on privet drive, as it was normal to be asleep on a night like this. A dark haze was broken by the drops of rain that broke their way through. Thunder clapped as the residents in privet drive slept peacefully, all except two. Just as lighting struck they woke up clutching their heads.
"Harry?" A small voice came from the girl. She went over and turned the light on in the room. A pair of bright green eyes was visible for just a second before he closed them to block the light .
"Ow! Leah turn it off," He mumbled getting out of bed to open the window, where a snowy owl was waiting to get out.
"Sorry Hedwig" He apologized as she flew from the room.
"Harry! I just had a dream. Wormtail was there and-" Leah started to explain but was cut off from her brother.
"I know Leah I just had the same dream" Her ice blue eyes bore into his green ones.
"what does it mean?" she whispered as she hugged her deep ginger cat, the fur blending in with her hair.
"it means I'm writing to Sirius," Harry sat down at the desk and pulled out a parchment and quill. When he was satisfied with his letter the two of them went down to have breakfast; however, they would have been better off staying upstairs when they saw what they had to eat. Since their cousin Duddley grew to large to fit in his school uniform he was forced to go on a diet. Their aunt than thought it would be easier for him if everyone else did to . Harry and Leah miserably ate the half of grapefruit when Uncle Vernon called them into the other room.
"what the devil is this!" Holding up a letter from Mrs. Weasley asking if the twins could go to the quidditch world cup with them. Harry and Leah looked at each other hopefully. While they were twins they looked nothing alike. Harry was frequently told that he look like his father with his mother's eyes. While Leah looked like her mother but with her father's eyes.
"Well?" Uncle Vernon asked his eyes bulging.
"Can we go?" Harry asked while Leah rolled eyes silently thinking way to be tricky Harry.
"NO YOU CAN NOT GO ANYWHERE WITH YOUR LOT!" Uncle Vernon screamed his face turning purple. Harry opened his mouth to argue but Leah cut him off.
"Okay it's fine Uncle Vernon. I'm just going to go upstairs and finish our letter to our godfather," Leah turned to leave smirking to herself but sticking with her innocent façade.
"Your godfather?" Uncle Vernon whispered glancing between Harry and Leah.
"Yeah, You remember him right? He was on your news a while back. He just likes to hear from us. You know to make sure we are happy. "
That last line did it Uncle Vernon was practically trembling with fear, " While you're up there send a letter to your...friend and tell them that you're going, and mention that to your god father too."
"Okay thanks" Harry said brightly as they walked upstairs.
"Good job," Harry told Leah once they were in their room.
"That's why I am in Slytherin dearest brother of mine" Leah smirked standing behind her brother who was sitting at the desk. Harry shook his head as he finished writing the letters and attached them to the owl's ankle.
"Friday can't come soon enough" Leah sighed as she flopped onto her bed.
