Jack couldn't tolerate being inside for another moment, the walls and ceiling were too near, he could feel them about to collapse, he had the same sensation of being buried alive … again; he had to get out in that moment or else he would crack and his pregnant mate didn't need to see him doing that again, she was also mourning …
So he went out and wandered, and after some time walking, he found a bench and sat there and saw people walking happily, families with their children, children playing nearby or coming back from school, they were as if nothing had happened but it did!, his life stopped a week before when his lover was taken from him because he had sworn that he would always be there by his side, and that had brought him death …
Suddenly a loudspeaker nearby started to play a song and it brought tears to his eyes, which had lost one shade of blue in these last seven days, and he was not strong enough to stop them .

Tears were running freely down his cheeks and he didn't dare to dry his face, he was just sitting there, with thousands of images invading his mind, images of Ianto and himself during work hours and during their time alone at Ianto's place that had turned to be Janto's place six months ago when he finally decided to move definitely there.

The song died slowly but his tears went on falling, his eyes were closed but he opened them fast when he listened:
"Hey, Cariad, why are you crying?"
"Ianto?" his weak voice was hardly listened.
"Of course, sir, who else calls you Cariad? Or have I being replaced so fast?" Ianto said with a tiny smile on his lips.
"But I saw you die"
"And I did"
"But how?" Jack asked while taking Ianto's hands between his.
"Well, let's say that you had your Rose and I had my Doctor with a sonic screwdriver …"
"So now you are …."
"alive" Ianto finished
"and you cannot …"
"die" Ianto finished again.
"So …" Jack asked while kissing Ianto's hands and looking directly into his eyes.
"So since now, YOUR forever is MY forever too " Ianto said and leaned forwards to kiss his Captain's lips and get lost in his arms again and again and … forever .
