I got inspired by a book to write this :P
The townspeople of Konoha were gathering on Cornerstone Street to catch a glance of the King's Nephew and his handsome friends. Even some unmarried girls were on top of houses on roofs, waiting for their arrival.
Tenten and Sakura stood outside of the town's bakery, anxiously waiting for their friend. They were waiting for Ino, who in turn, had nagged them about wanting to see the guys the day before and now she was late.
"Come on Ino, hurry up before they come," Sakura called.
"Okay, okay I'm coming," Ino ran out the shop and joined the girls.
As they walked to get a clear viewing through the continuing growing crowd, Tenten heard a group of girls say near them.
"I heard Prince Neji changed a lot,"
"Did he get hotter?"
"Only if he wasn't betrothed then I would have a chance to marry him,"
Tenten rolled her eyes. She didn't even want to be here, with all due respect, but she could have been back in the castle, learning medicine. But Ino had insisted that they see the prince into town, she even convinced Sakura. The sounds of whines interrupted her train of thought, Tenten looks down at her wolves. It took the king a lot of convincing to let them stay in town, even more, to let them into the castle, considering they refused to leave Tenten's side. Bones and Faith were their names, courtesy of her brother. Tenten pets their heads and sighed.
"Here comes Prince Neji!" someone calls from the roof.
The crowd grows silent as the Prince and his friends came to view riding their horses. It wasn't until his horse takes the first step into town for people to began to cheer. Neji was in the front with another person riding next, whom which nobody knew. Behind Sasuke and Naruto, a prince from the small country of the Land of Whirlpools, then Shikamaru and Kiba. Of course, the soldiers were in the back.
Somehow Tenten and the unknown man locked eyes. Tenten quickly turns her head when he smiled at her, she felt her face beginning to get hot.
"My lord welcome back!" Ino and Sakura cried out, clearly drawing attention to themselves.
The heat in Tenten's face only increased, this time from embarrassment as all eyes went to them. She wondered, maybe she should slowly back away and blend in with the crowd, pretend that she didn't know Ino and Sakura. However, when Neji turns his horse towards them the crowd clears the path for him to see them. Too late to put her plan into action Tenten joins them as they picked up the skirt of their dresses and bowed.
"Thank you, ladies," he gave a grateful smile then began to continue his way to the castle.
Kiba and Sasuke exchanged looks. Kiba gave a quick smile and Sasuke a smirk, causing both Ino and Sakura to blush.
As soon as they were gone, Ino and Sakura squealed.
"I can't believe you did that, you're crazy," Tenten was already beginning to walk away, without even thinking to wait for the other two.
"Who cares! We need to tell Temari about this, come on Tenten," The girls went down the street to head back to the bakery shop.
