I like Kurt/Rachel. Haters gon' hate. Don't own Glee or "Lost" by Robin Nievera. Deal with it.

Dishevelled hair, heavy bags, and mismatching clothes were the number one thing that Kurt Hummel did not want to be seen in, even if he were dead. But what happened today?

Normally he is attentive and quick-witted to noticing her outfits and quickly critiquing it, but not today. In fact, if he weren't shaken awake by Mercedes, the world would've passed by without him noticing it. It worried his friends constantly throughout the day.

At his 5th class, he had looked like he had been run over by a truck and drowned in a sea of slushie. He had been excused from English that day to see Ms. Pillsbury.

oOo

Kurt Hummel was never scared. Sure, he had been surprised and nervous at some times, but never frightened. But here he was, huddled inside the bathroom, quiet sobs coming from his chest. He pressed the sharp blade into his skin, whimpering a bit at the pain, then relaxed as the red line of blood dripped down his wrist.

Help.

oOo

Rachel bit her lip; she and Kurt were supposed to be working on their song together. That's why she had taken off at biology class when she got a text from her partner.

It was the afternoon, and to her knowledge, Kurt's father was out for the day. Her heart pounded wildly in her chest as she knocked on the door. However, the door just swung open, like in a haunted house.

With soft, small steps, she walked into the home, fully intended on finding Kurt.

"Kurt?" She softly whispered, listening intently for a noise. Her ears almost perked up when she heard soft sobs from the second floor. Her heart beat faster now, as she stomped up the stairs.

She saw that a door was open, white light coming from it. Quickly, she went to it and gasped as she saw its occupant.

"Kurt!"

Bloodied and tireless, the figure that was on the sterile white tiles looked up at whoever called his name. 'Help', he mouthed. Her eyes started to water as she tried getting her friend to sit up, cradling him in her arms.

"Don't call the hospital," he said in a raspy voice. She nodded. They sat alone in the silence for a short while. And then he fell asleep once again, filling the room with quiet snores. She sighed and then tried to comb through the tangled mess that was Kurt's hair.

I'm lost, where am I again?
All I know, is that you are with me,
Keep me close, and I'll stay
