It was a windy day in April, the merchant's ship was sailing smoothly. He had to sail to the country of Hardegon and return back to his home in Magnolia. He was praying that he would last on his food ratio. He would have had enough, if he didn't give away his meal to a small blue haired girl. He sighed and looked up at the clear blue sky, a smile playing on his slightly chapped lips-he couldn't wait to get home to her.

They were screams and whooping in the air. His midnight black eyes widened slightly and his heart started hammering in his chest. This couldn't be happening, but sure enough there was a pirate ship ahead of him. Cannons tore at his ship, he felt water touching his knees. He remembered praying that he would live, that he would survive this. Grabbing a life saver he threw it on the other side and jumped in the ocean. A shrill voice of a sea wench cackled and took the rest of his food supplies, but another ship was approaching. "Angel, we have to leave! It's her."

He heard running and cries. Peeking around his ruined ship, he wondered what was happening. There was a much larger ship shooting cannons. He heard something else, quieter than a cannon but louder than anything else. He smelled gun powder and the metallic scent of blood. A woman with feathers in her hair moved slightly to the the left, and as soon as she made that mistake, her head was shoot clean off by the cannon ball. The salmon haired man gasped as he watched the head of the woman fall into sea, bobbing at the waves. He felt cold, he felt like he was going to die by the hands of these pirates.

"Jet, fetch the landlubber floating amidst in the sea." A strong female said, pointing her sword in Natsu's direction. Her wild golden hair flowing in the air and her fierce chocolate eyes made the salmon haired man swallow thickly. He felt strong arms haul him up. "Please don't kill me, I don't have anything to give to you."

The orange haired man looked into Natsu's eyes and looked away, "It's not my choice, sir. I do hope you get to live. All depends on cap'n's grace."
