Yay, My first story of the new decade! I am so excited. I am still tolling over all the other stories that are WIP so don't worry I haven't forgotten about any one of the them. I thought a short drabble would be a nice little appetizer for you. Enjoy!
I don't have a loving family. I can't remember my mother and my father and I are more like polite strangers than relatives. And though, I looked at Toudoh-sensai as a distant uncle; he is hardly around that it is like he doesn't exist at all.
I don't have any siblings, though I wish I did.
A teacher once told me that "friends are the only family you choose." I hope that's true. Because that means one day I will have family of friends of my own; people I what to have around me; people who will turn to me in when they need help, or whenever they want to sit around and laugh all day. And within my family of friends I'll have someone who I am really close to; a brother, who I will share secrets with and go on wild adventures and we'll have loads of fun playing together.
But now I have to stay here, at the Kururugi Shrine, and watch over these children of Britannia, these spies for Britannia, and make sure they don't cause any trouble for me or for my country.
My dreams of a family of friends will just have to wait.
