Many people wonder what happens after death, some believe in heaven and hell. While others believe that nothing happens, death is death. But i don't think what they expected was the Classic Video Game ending screen saying,

Now, I'm not an idiot but this was seriously confusing the fuck out of me. Going back through my memories all I remembered was reading the manga "The Gamer", going to bed, a few culture references, and events that seemed to have happened to me. The weirdest part is in every memory i recall i can't remember anyone's face or name, not even my name! It's like they were all blurred!

I- wha- What was that? A moment ago i was just overloaded with a sense of calmness. I decided to focus on the primary problem at the moment, the Game Over screen. I looked around my surroundings, it was mostly just an inky black abyss. However there seemed to be a small continue button in the bottom right of the Game Over. Hesitantly and carefully i click it.
The game over screen disappears and is replaced with a small black screen in front of me, as well as big bold letters saying,

This all seems suspiciously familiar, the calming sensation, the video game aspect, the giant blaring title, it's almost like I am The Gamer. Well I guess there's only one way to find out, YOLO! I clicked new game obviously.
A whole possibility of magic and power! I was ecstatic! At least I WAS until the windows XP sound was played and I saw a new screen reading.

OOoo this was a fun surprise, I didn't think I would be able to customize my character.

Underneath those options were a bunch of sliders to adjust things like nose position, eye length that kind of thing. And all in all, the 5 hours, I think, it took to make a European Kirito was well worth it! What? Don't give me that look! He looks great! Really! He has Amethyst Eyes, with shaggy hair and will stand at a nice 5' 10. And although I tried, the game wouldn't let me completely take away a harry potter-ish look. Sad times, sad times indeed. I clicked the continue button and was met with a black void with the words

The moment I heard that voice, I sat up in a flash, or at least I would've had I not hit a little overhang with my head, stupid height.
Ignoring the pain, I got out of the cupboard and started cooking Breakfast, thankfully my last life as... whoever, apparently cooked a lot. I cracked an egg over a pan and started cooking it to perfection. As I did so I heard too small chimes near me,

Well I suppose I don't have much time to waste, I click yes and begin cooking. As I was cooking, I was wondering if there were quests and such shouldn't there be other commands like status or inventory?
"Status" I whisper under my breath, and voila just as I suspected a black screen popped up in front of me listing everything about me.
