Jade Harley was sick of waiting. It has been 5 days and 13 hours since they started their journey, and it wasn't very exciting. She had already played enough ghostbusters online to be sick of it, and had already gotten bored of John's stories. She was thinking of something to do, when suddenly a ping was heard. She looked behind her, and the computer she forgot was even there suddenly seemed to come to life.
She moved closer to the computer, seeing who has messaged her. Nobody else was online, so she had no idea who it could be. She opened up the message window, and was confused. There was no chumhandle for the user and they had seemed to know her.

Jade just stared at her screen, still not really believing what happened, though her text didn`t give it away at all. She just sat there for ours, not even noticing the tear that had forms and the person who had come behind her.
"Jade?" The voice spoke. It was all too familiar, it was John.
"Hello John." She tried her best to sound happy, but her voice came out noticeably weak. She sighed as she pushed the computer away and stood up, letting go a heavy sigh.
"Jade, is everything alright?" John spoke with his usual calm yet caring voice.
"I just got a message, it was a little unnerving is all, nothing to worry about."
"Who was it from?" Jade was silent at this, starting to walk away. She really didn't want to deal with John right now. She knew how much he hated Jack, and he never took her side on things with matter about him. So, she decided to try and just avoid it.
"It was from him, wasn't it?" Jade froze in her tracks, and whispered a quiet "yes" as she sighed once more.
"I won't bother you about it Jade. I know that you miss him. I just guess that he misses you too!" John smiled at her, and Jade couldn't help but smile back.
