November Annabella Terra designation: Agent X41822N. Or call her Nova for short.
Nova Terra was born into the Terra family, one of the Terran Confederacy's rich and powerful "Old Families". The family lived in the Terra Skyscraper in Tarsonis City, Tarsonis. She possessed a degree of empathy that was generally lacking in the Old Families, a trait that did not go unnoticed. She also believed strongly in the concept of fair play. She was regarded as the "golden child" of the family.
Unknown to Nova, a great deal of her empathy was due to her telepathic abilities. Her father, Constantino, was aware of her talents, if not the full extent of them. Without training she could only sense emotions and at seven years of age was told that she was "empathetic". Normally, psychic children were conscripted into the Ghost Program by wranglers. However her family hid her abilities from the Program, and her father attempted to prevent Nova from realizing she was psychic.
At her fifteenth birthday party, Nova learned that she was psychic by reading the mind of Morgan Calabas, a "suitor".
Nova is the best ghost within the Terran Dominion. Indeed, her ghost profile labels her as "the best of the best." She is skilled in all areas of operational performance.
Nova has a good sense of balance. She underwent physical training at the Ghost Academy. She found it very difficult at first, not being accustomed to exercise, but eventually excelled at martial arts, the use of weapons, and driving a vulture. She was given permission to learn some skills earlier than usual, and undertook the four-year program in only two-and-a-half years; a record.
Nova is a skilled hacker; she can take control of a nuclear silo in only a few minutes.
Nova often instills lust and fear in males around her, her physical appearance driving the former emotion, and her telepathy instilling the latter one.
At fifteen years of age, she was considered to be tall.
Nova has a Psi Index rating of 10 and as such, is one of the most powerful ghosts in existence. Her PI is only just surpassed by Sarah Kerrigan's rating as a ghost. She is so powerful that she finds it difficult not to read minds. She can even read minds through some types of psi-screens but was unable to read or attack the mind of Fagin while he wore one. Nova has the ability to telepathically communicate, at least with other psychics.
Her abilities first manifested as "empathy" at age seven; her parents hid this from her. On her fifteenth birthday she found she could read one person's mind at close range. A few days later she discovered she could read her family's mind from a considerable distance away. Nova developed a powerful attack which can destroy the brains of up to a dozen opponents while leaving an individual in their midst unharmed.
Nova's telekinetic abilities can slowly lift herself and others and is powerful enough to uproot shrubs, and she was able to briefly hold up part of a fallen building. She eventually learned to focus these abilities, and has frequently jammed firearms with it. She once used the ability to physically force someone to shoot another opponent.
Nova has proven time and time again that she is one of the best Ghosts to have ever been produced by the program. Completing many missions and killing all kinds of threats to the Dominion. Right now she was on a mission to stop some Specters that had been causing trouble around the planet and it's people. She had been told that she was going to have a new partner for the mission. Nova was not to keen on that idea, but orders are orders.
She was checking out the area with her sniper until she suddenly spoke "You are late".
"Am I now? It's possible given that making it to places in time has never been my best trait" Said a somewhat playful voice of a young man, though his tone clearly said he might only be half joking.
Nova glanced up and raised her eyebrow at what she saw "And what are you supposed to be?".
"I might tell you my name if you ask nicely, until then, just call me Spider-Ghost" The young man said.
"You look like an old comic book character" Nova said, referring to his suit "What's with the spandex?".
"Hey! I'll have you know that this suit is made by some real state of the art tech. It has a built in cloaking device, my mask has multiple kinds of visions and scanning tools and it offers light protection against low level fire arms. Not to mention it has a built in heat system for colder missions" Spider-Ghost said in a matter of fact tone.
Nova rolled her eyes "Whatever, we got a job to do".
"So what are we dealing with here?" Spider-Ghost asked as he looked over the small base.
"Did they not brief you on this?" Nova asked.
Spider-Ghost shrugged "They told me you would know better than them since you've been watching them".
"Guess that's a fair point. We are dealing with a small group of specters. They set up this base a while back and have been causing problems for the locals" Nova informed before looking at her new partner "You do know what a spectre is right?".
"Rouge Ghosts turned in to psychos. Heard a few things about them" Spider-Ghost said simply.
"That is true but you only know the basics. Spectres are terran special forces operatives with psionic powers granted by the psionic reagent terrazine. Many are or were elite ghost agents which have been exposed to terrazine. However, some were neurally resocialized troops who were subjected to the procedure, and would have lesser psionic power. Spectres were created as part of Project Shadowblade. Their powers rivals and at some cases, even surpasses ghosts. I have special devices that helps me control my powers better, the specters don't. Their power is far more chaotic" Nova explained.
"Spooky" Spider-Ghost said.
"This is serious!" Nova snapped.
"Calm down, I know it is. Just trying to lighten up the mode" Spider-Ghost said with his hands up.
"We are not here on a vacation, we are here on a mission and I expect you to do your part" Nova said sharply.
Spider-Ghost sighed "Got it. So what's the plan?".
"I rather avoid a full out battle. So we use stealth to dispatch as many as we can and then we blow this base" Nova instructed.
"Understood. Go on foot, I got the top" Spider-Ghost said as he stood up.
Nova looked at him confused "Top? If we use jet-packs, they will see us coming".
Spider-Ghost smiled behind his mask "You will soon find out I am a one of a kind Ghost".
He lifted his arm before shooting something out the wrist of his suit... it looked like webbing. With that he used the web line to swing towards the base. Nova was dumbfounded, what did she just see? She shook her head before heading towards the base herself. She snuck behind a guard and quickly stabbed him in the neck with her knife. She continued on and snapped the neck of another. She saw a lone guard, he notice her if she tried to sneak up on him due to the water puddles he was standing in. She made sure none was around before aiming her sniper and shot him in the head.
She hid the body from sight before continuing on. She noticed more guards, they were standing in a group, they would notice her for sure if she tried anything. She would have to find a way to split them up and then-
"Hey, you guys hear something?" One of the guards asked.
"Check it out" Another one said.
One of the guards raised his weapon and walked towards somewhere. Nova watched as he disappeared behind a large pile of crates... he never came back. The other guards noticed that too and they began moving towards the place with their weapons drawn. The one in the far back was suddenly pulled in to the air by some web lines. The sound of his gun hitting the ground alerted the rest. One was about to call for back up, only for a web line to wrap around his neck from above, he was pulled up, being strangled by the web, as Spider-Ghost came down at the same time and kicked another guard hard enough to knock him out. The last guard was about to shoot him, only for Spider-Ghost to yank the rifle out of his hands and hit him in the face with it, hard enough to knock him of his feet and making him land on his neck.
Nova would be lying if she said she wasn't impressed, still there was one issue she had to address as she came out of hiding "What the hell are you doing?!".
"Ummm, I took down the guards?" Spider-Ghost asked innocently.
"Do you have any idea how much noise you made? You might have alerted the whole base!" Nova whisper yelled.
Spider-Ghost held up his hands trying to calm her down "Relax Nova, I made sure there was no one around to hear it, you are the only one who saw it".
"What was all that anyway? How did you move around so fast? And what is that gunk you shoot from your wrists?" Nova demanded.
"I told you, I am not like the other Ghosts, I don't have psyonic powers, but I have abilities that are unique to me" Spider-Ghost explained "Look how about I explain the rest, after the mission is over?".
Nova nods in agreement, the mission comes first "Fine, but this talk is far from over. Since you are good at traveling through the air, see if you can find the command center and maybe even the ring leader of this little parade. If you do find him, capture him alive if you can. But if he proves more trouble than his worth, take him out".
Spider-Ghost saluted in a playful manner "You got it ma'am".
Nova rolled her eyes before cloaking and Spider-Ghost jumped and headed for the command center. He reached it, but it was heavily guarded, even he could not take out that many gunmen without being spotted or shot down. He activated the scanner in his lenses and began looking for a way in. He found one entrance, but even that was guarded.
He contacted Nova "Hey Nova. I have reached the command center. But it is heavily guarded, there is a way in on the upper east side, but I don't think I can deal with those two guards without alerting the rest".
"I see them, hold on a sec" Nova answered on the other end. A few moment later one guard dropped dead and before the other one could react, he was shot in the head "Ok I cleared them out and no one seems to notice. Get in the quickly. I will keep guard from the outside, let me know if something goes wrong".
"Copy that. Maybe after this we can talk over dinner?" Spider-Ghost asked in a playful tone.
"Eyes on the mission bug boy" Nova said dryly as she ended the call.
Spider-Ghost chuckled before hurrying inside the base. She crawled across the sealing inside the command center, keeping an eye out for any guards. He then noticed someone walking over to the room. The man entered a code and the door opened, as he stepped inside, Spider-Ghost quickly jumped in and grabbed the man in to a choke hold, he kept his tight grip around his neck until he passed out. Spider-Ghost looked around inside the room and it was more than he expected.
He contacted Nova "Nova, I think I've found something".
"What is it?" Nova asked.
"I'm not sure. I don't think we are dealing with any spetres we're familiar with. I don't think this is just a normal base. It looks a like a re-search facility" Spider-Ghost said as he looked around.
"What? Then what are they working on?" Nova asked.
Spider-Ghost looked over an computer "I can't say for sure. The details are locked behind a password I don't have. Nova, tell me most targeted places they have been attacking".
"They have been attacking several weapon facilities... and a lot of weapons and blue prints were stolen!" Nova said as realization hit her.
"That's it. They were not just random attacks or just meant to weaken the defense force. They are stealing technology to build their own weapons. But just what could they be building?" Spider-Ghost asked, more himself than Nova.
"What ever they built here, we can not allow it to remain in their hands. We need to destroy this place before they have a chance to take if of planet. Do whatever it takes" Nova ordered.
"Got it, Spider-Ghost out" Spider-Ghost said as he ended the call and left the room 'Need to find the command room, I bet I can activate the self destruct system from there'.
He hurried through the hallways, not bothering to much with stealth at this point. He is sure the enemies have found the bodies of their pals by now, meaning they were likely searching for intruders. As he got close to the command room, a guard spotted him and was about to shoot him. But Spider-Ghost simply jumped and kicked him clean through the metal door. When he got inside he saw several people about to shoot him. Using his speed and agility, he flipped and jumped to avoid the bullets. He kicked one gun man in the face before using his webs to rip the rifle out of another man's hands and tossed it in to the 3rd one. Spider-Ghost then grabbed the now disarmed man and tossed him in to a screen on the wall.
He hurried to the main computer and began hacking it "Come on, come on... yes! Now just to activate the self destruct system and... there. Ok, time to get out of-".
He felt a tingling feeling in the back of his head and quickly jumped aside to avoid a fist that destroyed the key board. Spider-Ghost looked up and saw an armored man. His armor was the same color as the normal spectre armor, but the eye parts was golden and he had two large gloves on his hands gloves that were shaking with energy.
"Well, take it you are the ring leader of this little circus. I am afraid we have to close you down, but not to worry. It will go out with a bang" Spider-Ghost quipped.
"You have no idea what you just started here punk" The man growled as he threw a punch.
Spider-Ghost dodged it "Pretty sure I started a countdown" He avoided another punch "Ok fine, I'll knock you down the size".
Spider-Ghost jumped on to the man's back and was about to punch him in the head. But the man suddenly jumped, slamming the ghost in to the sealing and forcing him to let go. Spider-Ghost groans before avoiding a stomp to the head and slugged the man across his armored face... but the punch did little as the man only staggered back and glared at him.
"Ummm... normally the people I punch go down from a blow like that" Spider-Ghost quipped weakly.
"Like I told you punk. You have no idea who you're messing with" The man said and suddenly raw energy began to build in his gloves.
"W-wait a second!" Spider-Ghost said before the man unleashed a blast from his glove.
There was not enough time or room to dodge and Spider-Ghost was hit dead on and the blast sent him flying through the metal wall and straight out of the base. He tumbled across the roof before hitting the ground hard.
The man watched for a moment before contacting someone "The base is lost. Get the ship ready. We're leaving".
Outside, Spider-Ghost groans as he tried to get back up, ignoring the killing pain in his body "What... was that?".
"Hey! Kid!" He looked up and saw Nova rush up to him "This place is about to blow! We need to get out of here now!".
Fighting through the pain, Spider-Ghost got up and put an arm around Nova's waist "Hang on".
"Hey! What are you doing-WHAAAA!" Nova suddenly screamed as her new partner began swinging away with her.
They made it to safety just as the base blew up. They sat on a rock to admire their handy work. It was a close call, and the leader of the bunch managed to escape. But at least the base could not be used to make weapons now.
"All thing's considered. I'd say our first mission together was a success" Spider-Ghost said.
"Indeed. Can I ask you for your name now?" Nova asked.
Spider-Ghost smiled and took of his mask. Revealing a young man"My name is Peter".
Nova smiled "Well then Peter. You did well, but you still got things to learn".
"I know. Good thing command said that if we pulled this mission of, we would be permanent partners" Peter said with a smirk.
"Oh great" Nova said with a tired sigh.

Well this is the first chapter of my new story. I hope you enjoy it, because this was and still will be very tricky to write. I love Starcraft and I love Spider-Man and I have wanted to make a story with them for a while now. How far it goes fully depend on you readers and reviews.

Also I know there are many questions on your minds and I promise that most of them will be answered in time, but for now I will answer two very important questions.

Question: What version of Spider-Man is this?
Answer: This is kind of my own version of Peter Parker if he had been born in Starcraft and went through the Ghost training. However he will be heavily based of the Peter Parker of Earth-8351. In that universe, Spider-Man became an assassin and he has non of the moral codes of his 616 counterpart. Not to worry, Peter will not just walk around gunning people down, but he is not above killing should the need arrive.

Question: Will this story follow any the events of the games?
Answer: Maybe, it all depends on how far this story goes. But for now, it will mainly focus on Peter and Nova bonding while hunting down rouge spectres.
