Red, red for my love,
Yellow, her sunny happiness,
Blue, blue for the skies,
Green, green for her eyes.
Gold, gold for her life,
Black, black was always me,
Bronze, our first autumn at school,
Silver, that was our doe.
Red and Gold for Gryffindor,
She shared that with him.
Red robes, red hair, gold wedding ring.
Yellow was hers, black mine.
Colours we didn't share.
Blue was the skies- for everyone.
Bronze- his eyes, the wrong pair.
Green and silver, those are the colours,
That matter most to me,
Not for my house of Slytherin,
But her eyes… and our silver doe.
