Heffie Headcannon
I can't stop shaking, this is meant to be the happiest day of my life and I can't stop shaking. What's wrong with me? I can feel everybody watching me but for once I don't mind, only one person matters and she is somewhere in the house behind me, probably a lot calmer than me.
"Don't worry Haymitch you are made for each other. " As usual Peeta is standing next to ready to stop me running. That's when the music starts.
As I turn towards the aisle, I see Katniss walking down in her beautiful blue dress, her hair in a delicate braid falling over her shoulder. However she isn't the woman I want to see. Behind her is my gorgeous fiancée, her white dress falls from her shoulders to the tip of her toes where you can see a peak of her white heals underneath. As she walks down the aisle her bright pink hair catches everybody's eye. She is the only person in the whole world, no universe who would have bright pink hair to her own wedding.
Finally she is within arm's reach, all I can do not to reach out and encase her in my arms, is promise in my head that I will be able to hold here every day for the rest of my life. When she is finally standing next to me she reaches out her hand and I instantly take it.
She leans over and whispers in my ear "I love you Haymitch Abernathy"
As tears threaten to escape my eyes I am just able to say "I love you too Effie Trinket so much"
