"Stop splashing, we're at a bathhouse!"
Kudari gives a cheeky laugh and pokes at his brother's arm. "But it's just us here!"
No matter how hard he thinks, Nobori just can't come up with an excuse to stop him. It's annoying and you're too old were ruled out of the book years ago and it would take a miracle for them to work now. He just prefers to sit and soak whereas Kudari wants to make fun out of everything.
Finally, Nobori reaches his breaking point and splashes his twin back with such a sour attitude. As he brings up his arm to shield himself from the incoming water, his muscles tense and, unfortunately, so do his hands.
The soap goes soaring majestically through the air and plunks in to the water.
Kudari nearly slips trying to catch it and when it disappears to the depths of the foggy bath water, he pouts. "Whoops."
He bends forward slightly, then decides that's not the best of ideas, so he kneels down. The water goes a bit above his chin, but he can reach far enough to the floor of the bath and he scours the tiles for soap.
"Find it?" Nobori asks.
"No."
He considers that it may still be floating so he raises his hand and swishes it through the water. A knuckle brushes against something and he lights up and moves to grab it.
His palm grips around the firm surface of the soap and-
"Aha, got it!" -He tugs.
It doesn't move and there's now a morbid silence that fills the bath.
Meanwhile, Nobori's pale cheeks are flushed dark red. Through the thick quiet, he finally says;
"That's not the soap."
