I saw Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland today, and I thought it was amazing! It's something I'd love to watch over and over again. :)

As I watched, I felt like the Mad Hatter & Alice had a connection.. So I will write about this connection. Okay, I shall shut my mouth, so I don't give out anymore information! But if you saw the movie, write in a review if you saw this little romantic connection! I don't wanna be the only one! xD

I own nothing.

This is at the scene where Alice is about to leave Wonderland.

[okay, I should REALLY shut up now..]

The White Queen handed the small vial to Alice that was filled with the Jabberwocky's blood. Alice looked at it in confusion, and raised an eyebrow while examining the small vial that contained the purple-colored gooey liquid. Alice turned to look over to see the White Queen.

"Will this take me back home?" Alice asked the queen, who nodded in response.

"If you want it to." The queen added. Alice nodded, indicating that she understood.

Alice kept staring at the vial. She wanted to go back home and be with her family and friends, but something kept her back at Wonderland. Alice hesitantly, and slowly, twisted the cork that kept the liquid in the vial. She looked down at the liquid. Do I really want to go home? Alice thought. She thought that she knew what kept her from going, but she refused to believe it - the Mad Hatter was keeping her from going back home.

Alice suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked over and saw the Mad Hatter, who had sad eyes.

"A-Are you leaving Wonderland..?" The Mad Hatter asked quietly. Alice slowly nodded. "Y-You can always s-stay, you know.." The Hatter said softly. Alice sighed and ran her hand through her hair.

"I want to stay, but I have to get back home.." Alice said with a tint of sadness. The Hatter frowned and slowly nodded.

"I understand. If you wish to go home, you may go back home." The Hatter said, trying to sound brave; but in the inside, he was holding back tears. He missed his old friend, and wanted to spend more time with her.

Alice walked closer to the Hatter, closing the gap between them. "I'll miss you, Hatter." She said quietly and gave him a long, tight hug. The Hatter hugged her back, trying to stifle sobs. Alice lightly kissed the Hatter's cheek and quickly drank the Jabberwocky's blood and turned around, so she wouldn't look at the Hatter. When she was slowly leaving Wonderland, she didn't dare look back at the Hatter; she was afraid that she would break down and cry.

Meanwhile, in Wonderland -

The Hatter raised his hand up to his cheek, and softly stroked the area where Alice had kissed him. He felt a tear roll down his cheeks, and wondered if his old friend would ever come and visit Wonderland again.
