Author's Note: Hey guys! This is a short little drabble dedicated to myself in celebration of my 18th birthday! I feel old. But this is just a little something for my readers and me. I hope you enjoy!

Ryan awoke around 8 am to the smell of fat greasy bacon. It was heaven to him. He climbed out of his bed and did his morning ritual before making his way to the kitchen. When he arrived, he saw his boyfriend of five years standing in front of the stove, humming himself a tune as he flipped the bacon to cook on the other side.
"Wow, Troy. A hot breakfast on a Saturday and 8 am at that? I'm impressed." Ryan praised his boyfriend. It was unlike Troy to even consider getting up before noon on the weekends.
Troy grinned. "Silly Ryan."
Ryan gave him a weird look before sitting down at the breakfast bar. About ten minutes later, Troy placed a plate full of bacon, eggs and pancakes in front of him. Ryan thanked him and immediately dived in. He gave his boyfriend a nod in approval and was thanked by a chaste kiss on the cheek. Ryan felt that a kiss on the cheek wasn't enough so he pulled Troy down to him by the collar and gave him a long, passionate kiss. After they were through, they smiled lovingly at one another.
"I was going to wait to give this to you," Troy said after the make out session, "But after that kiss, I think you deserve it earlier than planned." He walked out of the kitchen for a few moments and returned with a plain white envelope.
"I hope you like it." Troy said as he handed the envelope to Ryan. The smaller boy carefully opened the flap and pulled out two plane tickets. When he read the destination, he nearly flipped!
"New York!?" Ryan squealed. He jumped up and embraced his boyfriend tightly. "But why are we going? Is there a special occasion I forgot about?"
"Silly Ryan." Troy laughed. "It's for your birthday!"
Ryan was now confused. His birthday wasn't today. Was it? He turned to look at the calendar near the kitchen entrance and sure enough, it was his birthday. It explained why Troy was up early cooking breakfast.
"It's so like you to forget." Troy pointed out.
"Yeah, it really is. I guess it dropped my mind." Ryan shrugged.
"Aww, you're so cute when you forget things. Happy birthday, Ryan" Troy said, giving him a kiss on the lips.
Ryan laughed softly. "Thanks. Let's just hope I don't forget yours."
Author's Note: I know that it's not much, but I just wanted to write a little something. Please review! It'll make me happy on my birthday.
