CHAPTER 1
Nina's POV
It's the worst day of my life. There's a huge storm and I can't visit my Gran. Everyone's out except for Amber, Eddie and I. Amber was supposed to go with me to America, but that all changed because of this storm.
"Nina, are you okay?", Amber asks.
"Yes, Amber. I'm fine.", I say smiling.
She puts her hand on my shoulder.
"It'll be alright.", Amber says.
Amber and I were the only ones in the common room. Eddie wouldn't dare to go out of his room. Trudy would give him breakfast, lunch and dinner in his room. One time, he went out to get some pancakes. Wonder what's gotten into him.
Eddie's POV
"Sorry Eddie. I want to break up.", Patricia says nervously on the phone.
"But why?", I ask.
"I met up with Piper. She showed me a letter from my parents. We weren't allowed to date yet. Sorry. I love you but I can't date you.", Patricia says.
"Patricia, you know, I'd rather not like you than ask you out in the future. Bye and we're over.",I say then hang up.
"Eddie, was that Patricia?", Amber asks.
"Please, I don't want to talk right now.", I say.
"Don't be pushy!", Amber says then walks away.
I stare at her in confusion. I leave the common room and enter my room. I feel so bad right now.
Amber's POV
"What's up with Eddie?", I ask.
"I don't know. He seems normal to me.", Nina says.
"He was talking with Patricia then he became furious. Weird.", I say.
"Okay. I saw someone awhile ago.", Nina says.
"What? Was it Rufus or Senkhara?", I ask.
"All of that is over. I saw Vera staring in the window. She mouthed 'I'm coming back' and left.", Nina says.
"Nina, Amber, would you please call Eddie?", Trudy asks.
"Sure.", I say.
"Okay.", Nina says.
We walked to Eddie's room then we knocked.
"What do you want?", Eddie asks.
"Um, Trudy calling you. You gotta break out of your shell.", Nina says.
He opens the door then walks up to Trudy. We follow behind.
