AN: I was listening to No Return by God is an Astronaut.

This takes place straight after GoF. Please leave a review if fav'ed.

Disclaimer: Last time I checked I am an American, sarcastic, and fun-sized. Nice try, but I know that I'm not JK Rowling.

Title: The Point of No Return

Word Count: 400

Summary: Either we all die alone or die together. Another vignette.

"Tonight, a boy died because he dared to walk in the path of Lord Voldemort. Cedric Diggory died because he was the spare in Voldemort's plan. May we never forget him, may we all never forget the fact that Dark forces do not care if you are innocent or not.

"That is why I have asked you all to come here today, because history has repeated. The Dark Lord Voldemort has resurrected into a corporeal form. His Death Eaters are now back, and he will be seeking out old allies. Young Harry Potter faced against Voldemort himself and escaped. If it wasn't for him then we would surely be blind to whatever may come soon enough. And much to our luck, we now have the element of surprise.

"We are of fewer numbers than what we used to be over a decade ago. Some of our members had died in battle, some defending family, others betrayed, or stood up while everyone else sat down. We will mourn others in the coming time of war, but we must act now.

"Dark times are coming, and our era of peace is now over. Some of us may die, and some may live for a new tomorrow. That is why I ask you all to consider joining again. The battle will be shaped by the will of others, but it is your choice to make if you want to be there. I will understand why you would wish not to, and I will understand why you would wish to come back. I will not pressure you to decide because this is also your fight.

"Even though darker times are coming, remember that is when hope burns the brightest. Like a phoenix, the fire will always come back, because now we will turn on the lights and see what will lay ahead.

"The war begins tonight. We are nearing a point of no return, and we must act as quickly as possible.

"Are you with me?"
