I had this idea after seeing a cute Minion sketch on Deviant Art and this involves Davis, Gru's niece who's lonely until her Mom Elsa has a secret mission so a female Minion named Kayley becomes her friend.

But Kayley isn't good at making friends, even with her fellow Minions so they can help each other.

It was the beginning of Summer and Davis, was getting ready for going to day camp since her folks thought it was a good idea so she could make friends since she didn't make friends easily.

She was eight years old with brunette hair, slender but creative and liked her uncle Gru since he was an ex villain and had a lot of cool toys plus she liked her cousins knowing they were having fun.

She heard her Mom call her grabbing her backpack and leaving quiet in the car making Davis sigh remembering something funny one of her uncles Minions had did like having a cupcake fight.

"Honey what's funny?" her Mom asked.

"It was just something funny that happened at Uncle Gru's house." she said as they were here.

She hesitantly got out of the car gulping seeing other kids since she was sheltered.

Her Mom worked for the Anti Villain League but kept it a secret knowing her brother Gru sometimes helped them but had heard that a bad guy Hex had been causing trouble and she was assigned to stop him.

But she didn't want Davis to be alone getting an idea going to her brother's house seeing his Minions playing some game making her chuckle because she liked them plus Davis drew them a lot.

Gru was stunned seeing his sister here knowing it was about Davis seeing her nod.

"I-I have a dangerous mission and Davis needs a friend, somebody to watch over her." Elsa told him.

A smile crossed his face knowing what to do seeing a shy female Minion drawing by herself making him sigh.

"Kayley dob't you wanna go play?" he asked.

The brunette haired female Minion shook her head since she was pretty shy but he remembered the last time Davis had been here, Kayley had been more like herself getting an idea.

When Davis got home from day camp, she was feeling sad because things hadn't gone well but saw a big gift box in her room on the floor making her urious but excited since it was from Uncle Gru opening and smiled seeing Kayley hugging her.

"Does Uncle Gru know you're here?" she asked the female Minion.

The female Minion wore a translator around her neck in a locket she wore that Gru had given her.

"Yes since Gru said you needed a friend and we get along well." she said making her smile getting hungry.

"Let's get some lunch." Davis said taking Kayley's gloved hand.

She and Kayley hoped this would work out
