Who I am

Hunny

Set after episode 18

Disclaimer: I do not own Ouran High School Host Club. Someone named Bisco does. Whoever that is, he/she is very lucky.

A/N: after watching episode 18 I had to write this. Fluff. Nothing more to say.

Hunny sighed. He didn't want to fight his own brother. It was against his ideas of family. It hurt him that they couldn't seem to accept him for his true self.

The sun warmed his face. It was late and he had won over Chika-chan. It didn't feel like a sweet victory, though. It wasn't like cake, more like when you put too much toothpaste on your toothbrush. It burned in your mouth and you needed something to cool it down.

He heard footsteps behind him. He sat still, clutching Usa-chan in his hands. The breeze made his hair fall into his eyes, and he lifted a hand to brush it away.

He felt so alone. What did it matter to be yourself, when no one could accept it? When no one loved him for who he was. When the people he had been closest to, wanted him to be someone else. On the other hand, he knew he just couldn't do it to himself. He couldn't try to be someone else. It wasn't fair to himself. It wasn't fair of them to ask him to betray himself.

Someone sat beside him.

"Takashi" Hunny asked. He might as well be blunt and get this over with.

"Mmm?"

"Do you want me to be someone else?" Hunny asked. He was afraid of what Mori would answer, but he just had to know. Mori, who noticed that this question meant alot to Hunny, more than you could assume, took some time to get his words right.

"No, Mitsukuni. I like you as you are. You shouldn't try to change yourself" he said.

"But...but Chika-chan and my father wants me to change! They can't...they can't accept me for who I am" Hunny stuttered, it was hard to get the words over his lips. They sounded more real, more right now, than inside his head. And that scared him. Tears rolled down his face. Mori looked at him.

"I liked who you was before, but I like you even more now. It's not fair of them to ask you to change. You are who you are, and I'm glad you realised that you had to be yourself. It's hard to act."

"But...but.." Hunny hid his face in his hands. Mori lay an arm around the tiny shaking shoulders.

"Mitsukuni, listen to me. I love you for who you are. A lot of other people does too. It's your family's fault that they can't see how wonderful you are now. You're even more wonderful now than before. It's too bad for them, that they can't accept you. Because if they did, they would know it too"

"....Really?" Hunny looked up at the taller, who smiled a reassuring smile

"Really."

Hunny smiled. It was nice to know that someone loved him for who he was It didn't feel like mistake now.

Mori lifted him onto his lap, and hugged him. It surprised him, Mori liked to avoid physical contact otherwise. Hunny must really have looked like he needed a hug. He leaned against the darkhaireds chest and inhaled that special smell that was pure Takashi.

"Thank you, Takashi"

"Thank yourself" the raven haired said.

Hunny smiled and hugged Mori closer. He knew that at least one person loved him for who he was.

A/N: Uhm..sorry 'bout the toothpaste thing. I was trying to get into Hunny's head. That place is scarier than you should think. It was filled with Mori's with almost nothing on. Reviews are appreciated.
