Summary: This fanfic is mostly about Clark and Lana, but there is adventure in it...and some Clark and Chloe.
Spoilers: It's after Nicodemus...before that you're safe...after that you're not...I guess
Clark and Chloe are walking home from school.
"So did you read the newspaper today?" Chloe asked.
"No...why?" Clark said.
"There was an article that was about a spaceship that landed with the meteors."
"W-wa-what?" Clark managed to say.
"There was a spaceship that landed with the meteor shower..." Chloe said.
"Meteor shower?"
"Yeah, the one that killed my parents..."she trailed off.
Startled that she had just said that, Clark spun around, surprised to see Lana.
"Lana! What are you doing here? Where is Chloe?"
"I thought you cared about me..." Lana said.
"I do...and I also care about Chloe too...." Clark trailed off.
"But don't you love me?" Lana said with a sad smile. Clark turns around to think of an answer. Suddenly he hears a bloodcurling scream that turns into an alarm clock beeping. He bolts up and smashes his alarm clock into pieces.
"Damn it! That's the second time this week!!" Clark said with his mind still on the dream.
