I have to admit it feels kind of good to get back to writing. I have been busy lately, there has been a lot on my plate. But now I am back and ready to kick some butt! I will post responses to any reviews I may get!

CHAPTER ONE
NICO POV
Nico let out an exhausted groan at his desk. Which may or may not have cause his entire English class to turn around and stare at him. Ugh, couldn't the nosy little brats just mind they're own business?

The letters peeled off of the page and floated around in the air. Letters were dancing all around his head, and they wanted him to read this? And then for a split second he imagined Bianca, his deceased Olive skinned older sister. Very much against his will...

Bianca was the only person who could get him through this. The reading, the headaches, the strange things that happened to him on a daily basis. And now she was gone.

The coffin had been proof enough to him. She was gone and now he was alone. There wasn't anyone left in the world who could understand him. What was the point in all of this? The school, the putting up with bullies, when at the end of the day there is no light at the end of the tunnel?

PERCY POV
I was in the arena when it happened. Ever since last summer me and Clarise have been friends, or as close to friendship as you can get with Clarise La Rue. We were in full on spar mode, my sword against her spear. She may have been bulky and muscular, but she had the speed and grace of a gazelle. She would leap from place to place...

And that would be right around the time I felt a pulling on my ankles. Grapevines wound around Clarise's spear. I got to where I couldn't move anymore. But I could see Mr.D out of the corner of my eye, smiling like he had just gotten the best Christmas gift ever.

LINEBREAK

I walked out of the big house with feeling dread. Me, Thalia, and Annabeth we're going to retrieve a son of Hades. This wasn't going to end well...
