aAuthor's note: This is my third time redo-ing What Do You Think of Me, and I have improved it from what two years ago. So without any further ado, here the the 3rd (and hopefully final) remake of What Do You Think of Me
Chapter 1: Ryah's pov
It had been six months since I've seen or heard from him. I tried calling him, but all I got was his wife saying that he couldn't come to the phone. The next few times, I had gotten his voice mail. It almost felt like he was avoiding me.
My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. Two of my best friends, Jamie and Mickie, had come over to watch TNA with me. Since niether one were actually scheduled to compete and I had been asked to stay home due to some unkown reason, they came across the street to my small Alabama home.
It was then the opening numbers of a song I knew too well started playing and a familiar face walked out, the same face that had been avoiding me for the last six months.
Jamie, Mickie, and I sat in silence for what felt like hours. Mickie was the first one to find her voice.
"Is that Jeff?" she asked. I smacked her upside the head.
"Of course it's Jeff," I said as I got up and went to the door.
"Ryah, where are you going," Jamie asked.
"Just watch," was all I said before walking out the door.
When I finally got inside the arena, I made a beeline for the gorilla position. Once I got there, I watched the monitor as Jeff looked like he was gonna burst into tears.
That's it, I thought. I'm going out there. I walked out there and the crowd welcomed me, but I wasn't focused on the crowd. I got in the ring and watched as Jeff put down his mic. I sighed and picked it up. I sadly smiled at him; I knew how he was feeling.
"Hey," I said, not knowing what else to say. "Are you okay?"
He nodded.
"I want the truth. Are you really okay?" I said.
"I cant tell you out here," he said.
"Okay then lets go back," I said hugging him.
Once we got backstage, he started explaining how after Victory Road, his sister, Jessica, said that she heard me and my sister, Katy, talking horrible things about him. I was shocked.
"You know I would never say anything bad about you Jeff," I said, grabbing his hand. "We've been friends for as long as I can remember."
I saw Jessica walk by at that moment so I waved her over.
"What?" she said. I knew she never been too fond of me or my sister so I can only imagine that she made this up. Boy was I about to find out the hard way.
"What horrible things did I say about Jeff?" I asked.
She then pulled out a recorder and played a conversation I had with Katy after Jeff had left.
Ryah: I think Dixie did the right thing by sending Jeff home.
I interrupted at that moment. "Yes! I thought that Jeff needed to clear his head. That's why I am glad she sent him home."
Ryah: I can't believe he married that b**** Beth.
I interrupted again. "It's no secret that I dont like Beth." At that moment, Jeff decided to interject.
"Why?" he asked.
"Ill tell you later. Let's just finish the recording."
"No," Jeff said, getting up. "Tell me now."
"I came here to figure out what happened to you over the last six months, not explain myself to you," I said.
Katy: Ryah, why do you hate Beth so much?
I sighed, "fine Ill tell you. The reason I dont like Beth is because she's been using you for the last 10 years! okay!? there! Jessica, where is the horrible part to this recording?"
Katy: well, Jeff is nothing but a drug addict and a screw up.
My mouth completely dropped in utter shock.
So there's the first chapter. And I do like Beth it just for this story where Ryah doesnt like her. She's married to my Jeff muse so that's why. :)
