So this was inspired by me finding out that Dudley was on the old show but only for one episode and that he was being the Phantom of the MuppetbTheayre pulling pranks and trying to wreck the show with harmless pranks from my best guy friend Artie at Starbucks yesterday and we were imagining what had happened to Dudley since them
In this little story, Dudley is very tempted to bring his old alter ego back but he knows that that was something that had helped him feel confident, Nrave when he was younger so witn help from Piggy, he lets the Phantom go and just be plain Dudley again who,is not just an awesome friend to Piggy bit amazing when it comes to either fashion or acting on stage.
I hope peopke enjoy and I have ideas for Dudley/Piggy hehe
It was late night in his living quarters and Dudley couldn't sleep because his alter ego the Phantom from when he was younger wanted to have fun like the old days but the light blue skinned goblin male ignored him but thinking about Piggy helped.
C'mon, let's have some fun!
Dudley ignored him but was carrying on with what he had to do, but seeing a certain black top hat with a purple rim brought back memories of when he had been the Phantom of the Muppet Theatre and when he returned home to the Labyrinth and embraced his destiny, he decided to not be the Phantom anymore.
"Dudley, is my dress ready-?" Piggy asked seeing the top hat remembering Kermit saying Dudley was the Phantom of the Muppet Theatre and now she knew it.
"Yeah, I was the Phantom of the Muppet Theatre bit my pranks were harmless compared to what a certain bad frog does but I'm sorry." Dudley said looking away.
"Dudley it's fine, I'm not mad but surprised that my best friend was a prankster." Piggy said.
"I was shy back then and wanted to be a performer instead of some clothes designer so I was afraid and being the Phantom gave me confidence even though I disappeared
I wanted to talk to you but was afraid, but you've done major growing up like what I had to do when I returned and embraced my talents." Dudley said to her looking at his feet but felt piggy's arms around him in a hug.
"You should be proud of who you are, and you don't need the Phantom anymore as you have a friend in me remember?" she said to him seeing him nod.
"You're right, it is time to let him go." Dudley said feeling shaky bit with Piggy by his side, he felt brave taking his black top hat with a purple rim and donating it knowing somebody else would need it going back to the studio.
"Whoa, you let the Phantom go and he's not coming back?" Kermit said as Dudley nodded.
"Ues it was hard, but Piggy helped as Tne Phantom of the Muppet Theatre can play a mean prank but he can't make outfits or act like me." Dudley said impressing him remembering Whatbthe Phantom had done by wreaking total mayhem.
"That's good, because the Phantom was a big pain but Dudley is better." Kermit said as Dudley nodded going to help Piggy but she saw him hug her which was sweet.
"Thanks for helping me, but I need your help in the being shy area." Dudley said to her.
"Sure Dudley, as we're friends and we're the same." Piggy told him making him nod as this was good
