"I dare you! You must do it!" Alice yelled at me.
" I am not going to go up to him and poke him in the face and run away screaming nonsense!" I yelled back at her.
"Come on, Bella! It will be funny!"
"To you! Not to me! Why don't you do it?" She just tapped her temple and ran off giggling to herself. I rolled my eyes at her being...Alice, I guess that's the only way to describe her. I looked at Edward, suddenly thinking of the dare she gave me. I took a step in his direction, fully knowing Alice was watching me from a distance. I looked back in the direction she ran off in. I immediately saw Alice with Jasper behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist. They both smiled at me, encouraging me to go on. I looked back in the direction of Edward and took another step towards him. Before I knew it I was walking to him. His eyes locked with mine as I got closer. I cant believe in doing this! I screamed in my head. As soon as I got close enough to walk past him, I tripped. I closed my eyes and put my hands out to catch me, but I never hit the ground. Instead I felt arms wrapped around my waist.
Slowly I opened my eyes, only to see Edwards face right above mine looking concerned. "Are you okay, Bella?" I actually felt the need to squeal 'He knows my name.' But that would be stupid so I didn't.
"Yes, I am fine." I said, trying to get out of his arms, even though I didn't want to. But he just held me tighter...not that I minded.
"Are you sure? You are not lighted are you?" He asked. I was only lightheaded by that we were having a conversation that was more than three seconds long.
"Yes, I am sure." He made sure that I was steady on my feet before letting me go.
"I am going to walk you to our class." He said at the bell rang. I just nodded my head as he grabbed my hand and gave it a slight tug telling me to walk with him.
We walked past Alice and Jasper. I heard Alice yelled at Jasper to fork over five bucks because she won. I cant believe they bet on me! Actually I can believe it...It is very like them.
When we got to class he made sure I was fine as I sat down before he sat next to me. "I have a confession to make." He said. "I tripped you so I could walk you to class." He smiled sheepishly at me. I just smiled.
"Trip me anytime you want then." I replied.
