This is a little different version of the scene of Ron's birthday when he's in his room with Harry opening presents. During half blood prince.
Ron was holding the box with the Chocolate Cauldrons indicating that Harry should try them.''Want one?''
''No thanks'' Harry seemed as thought the last thing he needed was chocolate.''Malfoy's gone again.'' he continued as if not really caring to participate in this discussion again...
'Can't have done,' said Ron, stuffing a second Cauldron into his mouth as he slid out of bed to get dressed. 'Come on. if you don't hurry up you'll have to Apparate on an empty-stomach ... might make it easier, i suppose ..."
He eyed the box again and popped another chocolate in his stuffed mouth. Harry, ready to have breakfast motioned for Ron to move.''Ready?'' he asked him.
Ron was still in bed his mind miles away.''Ron?Breakfast.'' Harry said awaiting.
Ron answered ''I'm not hungry,' Harry stared at was a day to remember if Ron was truly not hungry. 'I thought you just said -?' Harry tried to understand what had happened in a matter of seconds.
''Well, all right, I'll come down with you,' sighed Ron, 'but I don't want to eat.' Harry scrutinised him looking down at the box of chocolates.
'You've just eaten half a box of Chocolate Cauldrons, haven't you'
'It's not that,' Ron sighed again. 'You ... you wouldn't understand.' replied Ron. Harry looked at him unable to realize what was going through his friend's mind. He gave up.''Fair enough,'' said Harry.
Ron as is suddenly awakened from his daytime dream called Harry.''What?'' asked Harry who was ready to leave alone.
'Harry, I can't stand it!' said Ron exaggerated finally allowing his friend a piece of information, though not much since Harry needed more info. 'You can't stand what?' he asked.
'I can't stop thinking about her!' said Ron hoarsely. He knew that at that moment Harry realized that it was a romantic problem. Harry seemed to be thinking something he didn't like because a grimace appeared on his face, but when he spoke he sounded casual. ''Why does that stop you having breakfast?'' he wondered.
Ron looked sad but answered ''I don't think she knows I exist,''.
Harry looked at him questioning his friends brains. ''She definitely knows you exist,' said Harry, bewildered. 'She keeps snogging you, doesn't she?'' he again tried to appear casual.
Ron blinked once, twice then asked ''Who are you talking about'
''Who are you talking about?' said Harry completely lost.
Ron looked down and sighed. Harry seemed like he finally understood and he slowly approached Ron's bed and sat near him.''Is this about Hermione'
He didn't have to ask the same as Ron didn't have to answer.
''Maybe you should talk to her, you know someone's gotta do the first move.'' he encouraged Ron, who only signed loudly.
''It's mental. I AM mental for even thinking these things. I have every right to do what I want, she's the one who's not talking to me. I've done nothing to apologize for.'' he claimed.
Harry only looked at Ron and shook his head.
After awhile they got up and started to walk to the door. Harry suddenly turned around and said ''It is supposed to be mental.''.
Ron looked at him and slowly nodded. They left silently their room.
