A/N : Just something I came up with. One shot. R&R, please!!

Ginny looked up at me with a slight smile as I took her hand into mine. I smiled down at her, and she blushed.

It was beautiful. I couldn't take my eyes off of her face. Gently, I swooped down and kissed her cheek. Her face got redder, and I saw her smile widen.

"Ginny," I muttered. She turned to look at me. I shook my head. She looked away, confused.

"I love your name. It's mysterious, adorable, and sexii," I quickly explained. She turned to grin at me.

While she was looking my way, I bent down and kissed her lips, pulling her closer to me. Her arms snaked their way around my neck and tangled in my hair. One of my hands went to the small of her back, and the other rested on her cheek.

When we finally broke away for air, I couldn't look away. The way the wind blew her hair so that it stuck on her lip gloss, the way the sun made her eyes shine…God, she was beautiful.

I took her hand and led her away from the edge of the balcony overlooking the lake and she followed me to our favorite ice cream shop.

We rested on the bench as she ate her double chocolate mint cone, and I ate my peanut butter chocolate bar. Ginny kept glancing up at the sky and smiling.

"Ginny, I..." I began. She looked at me.

"Ginny, I…I um, will you be my girlfriend?" I blurted out. Ginny laughed, and looked at me.

"You're blushing," she accused, and I turned to hide my face.

"Harry, I'd love to," she said, grabbing my face and turning it so I was looking at her. She leaned in and kissed me, and this time it was even better than before, because this time, Ginny was mine.

After we finished our ice cream, we stayed on the bench. Ginny kept laughing as she looked at the sky.

"The birds are playing tag," she finally said. I tore my eyes from her face to look at the sky, where the birds were indeed chasing each other around.

Laughing, I took Ginny's hand and led her back to the balcony.

5 YEARS LATER:

"Ginny, I love you," I said. She looked at me.

"I love you, too," she said kissing me and turning back to look at the view from our balcony.

"No, Ginny, I love you. Like, I really love you," I corrected.

"And I really love you, Harry," Ginny said, looking at me.

I got on my knee.

"Ginerva Molly Weasley, I want to make you mine, forever. Will you marry me and make me the happiest man ever?" I asked, looking up at her, pleading with my eyes.

Tears began to stream down her face.

"Yes, Harry, yes!" She said, as I slipped the ring on her finger. I kissed her gently, and led her to our bench, the same bench we had sat on five years before.

Ginny looked at the sky and laughed.

"The birds are playing tag," she breathed.

I looked up and sure enough, the birds were playing tag.

5 YEARS LATER:

"I hate you!" Ginny screamed, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Ginny, I'm sorry!" I yelled back.

Ginny jumped off our bench, and faced me.

"I can't believe you would do that to me, Harry. I want a divorce," Ginny whispered. I fell to my knees.

"No, Ginny, I love you. I'm sorry!" I said.

Ginny shook her head.

"No, Harry, I can't go through this again. I'm sorry," she turned on her heels and walked away. I watched her retreating back.

When she was out of sight, I looked up at the sky and let out a howl of rage.

The birds were playing tag.
