The Tornado That Threatens

By Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus

Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus: A giant tornado destroying the Mushroom Kingdom? Such a concept hasn't happened yet methinks...

Toadette panted as she ran. Running all across the Mushroom Kingdom would normally take the breath out of you, but Toadette had some urgent news to share with her closest friends, who all happened to have been the Mushroom Bridge, sitting on top of the bridge's western arch, overlooking the harbor.

"It sure is peaceful up here." Silver admitted as he had his arms wrapped around the back of his head. "Isn't that right?"

"Sure. When you put your mind to it and make it so that you're one with yourself, any place can be peaceful," Dry Bowser commented as he rolled his right skeletal hand about, turning his skeletal head to the right to see Toadette next to him. "Oh, hey kid. What's up?"

Toadette panted as she shook her head, her hands on her small knees as she glanced up at Dry Bowser and Silver. "Oh, it's dreadful! I just saw a huge tornado coming from the eastern direction?"

"A tornado!?" Silver exclaimed as he stood up, moving his hands about as he seemed alarmed. "Where is it? Did it do any damage yet?"

Toadette frowned as she had her hands up on her face. "No, but it's getting dangerously close! It's still in the ocean, but it's approaching main land fast! We gotta go and stop it!"

Dry Bowser folded his skeletal arms together as he glanced at Toadette. "So, what's the plan? We go and stop the tornado from doing any damage!"

"Exactly!" Toadette stated as she turned to Silver. "Silver, I need you to go to Peach's Castle and tell Toadsworth about the cyclone!"

"All right, but promise me you'll be careful," Silver replied as he stretched his arms, giving Toadette a quick hug as he then headed northward towards the Mushroom Kingdom.

Dry Bowser stood up, placing his hands on his hips. "I take it that you're going to fly us there?"

Toadette smiled as she began hovering in the air, spinning her pink pigtails. "You know me so well, D-B."

Dry Bowser smirked as he held onto Toadette's arms, with Toadette flying towards the eastern direction, to fight off the cyclone that was heading westward bound.
