Authors Note: Hello all! I was listening to some music on my Mp3 player and this idea popped into my ever-random noggin. Not sure if I should continue… *looks hopefully at reveiwers* ENJOY!
The rain was coming down in buckets, flowing through the gutters and cracks in the pavement like hundreds of miniature rivers. A dark-clad figure leans against a lamppost, one of the few remaining light sources on this grimy little street. The flickering yellow glow filters down through the rain and gives the figure -a man- a sickly yellow tinge to his already pale complexion.
His skin color comes in stark contrast with his attire, an almost blemish free white. A thick black leather jacket is his first line of defense against the pouring rain, hung over a black band t-shirt, its logo faded from over use. Black skinny jeans are slung low on his hips with a silver chain dangling from the left pocket.
He is short and thin, yet, despite his size an air of danger hangs about him like vultures to a corpse, circling his lithe frame and subconsciously keeping others a good three feet from his person.
His eyes are dark green and lidded, framed with a set of almost comically thick eyebrows, slanted slightly downward, a testament to his perpetual disapproval with the world in general. Dark circles sit heavily just below his eyes. His lips are set in a scowl, his arms crossed tightly across his chest, and his messy blonde hair is plastered to his skin. He is a man who looks as if he has completely forgotten how to laugh.
His name is Arthur.
Reviews are food for my soul!
