Harry was the one who yanked him back from a lifetime of hiding, making him draw a breath and face a sky of accusations with a proud face.

They'd always have that connection, that past that met beneath rock and mountain. They had to start remembering the cave wasn't their only option.
Sunset
Every time the sun vanished and the moon fought for dominance in the sky they both prepared for the next battlefield, the terror of their minds in dreamscape.
Rivalry
Their legacy of frivolous rivalries didn't stop when the animosity did. They both kept satisfaction from a constant motion of dominance in their relationship.
Force
They were both impenetrable forces, forces in constant spiraling effect, but at time they were so similar that their force was the same.
Might
While Harry was considered the strongest, and the most heroic, it was Draco that was behind him the whole way, pushing him further on ahead.

Even though Harry knew that he needed his friends, it was up to him to show Draco that he needed him too.
Reluctance
Oddly enough it was Harry who was hesitant and only Draco was concerned with Harry's public integrity.
Hesitation
Their friends were hesitant, their hearts were not. History was made and it wasn't with a courageous need to rescue all, it was with an act of the heart.
Inconsistent
In the interviews that followed everything turned up to be inconsistent. Driving the public nuts, Harry and Draco retreated to France and simply grinned every time the papers arrived.
Romance
One would think the ice prince would be melted by romance, they would never expect it to be persistently the other way around.
Obeying
The first bow that Draco obeyed was his vow to love Harry forever and always.
Finding
There were very interesting ways to play hid and seek in Malfoy Manor. There were also many, many bedrooms to hide in.

Draco absolutely refused to go "Bloody frolicking!" through muggle London until he'd had enough time to do his hair.
War
It was bloody and it was long, it was necessary and it was grueling, and it was above all the only godsend that was able to bring them together. They were bonded by more than blood.
Loss
Lucius Malfoy was sentenced to Azkaban, and even though Draco was glad to see him go he was also glad that Harry understood loss, and was there beside him to witness it.
Gain
Harry gained everything he ever wanted and more, but he wasn't proud of the war record or the Gringotts vault, he was proud of the man that he called "lover."
Funeral
Narcissa Malfoy had faded away, piece by beautiful piece, until her son wasn't even able to bring her back. However the combined forces of her son and her son in law were what helped her stand proud and the infamous funeral of Lucius Malfoy.

They had a future, a breath of fresh air; they had forever.
