This is what happens when SVUproductions and I get into a fight over story ideas. LMAO. This little oneshot is basically Elliot dealing with each of his daughter's first boyfriends. Enjoy!

The first time one of his daughters announced she had a boyfriend, Elliot nearly had a heart attack.
Maureen was twelve and in the seventh grade when it happened. Kathleen was in the fifth grade, and the twins were in kindergarten. He and Kathy had started to fight more and more, over money, over his job, over her feeling like a single parent to four kids.
He couldn't blame her. He worked long hours, and when he got home, all he wanted to do was sleep.
But when he did get home, he always made sure he spent a few minutes with each of his kids. They were the reason he did what he did. To protect and provide for them, and to make sure they had better lives than he did. It was the one thing he was determined to do right.
But when Maureen came home one afternoon and announced that she had a boyfriend, he just stared at her in complete disbelief. She was only twelve! In his mind, she was still that little baby that he had been afraid to hold for days after she was born. How could she have a boyfriend already?
Kathy had been amused by Elliot's annoyance, and as they got ready for bed that night, she looked him in the eye and told him something he knew all along.
"El, this is just the beginning."

The first time Kathleen announced that she had a boyfriend, Elliot was concerned. She was his wild child, his little trouble maker with the face of an angel.
If there was any of his children he worried about more, it was her. She was only fifteen, and he suspected that the boy she called Bryce wasn't the first boyfriend she had. But he was the first one she was bringing home, so Kathy told him to drop it.
He didn't, of course.
And when he saw the boy his daughter claimed she was in love with, he knew the trouble was only beginning.

The first time Elizabeth told her parents she had a boyfriend, Elliot wasn't quite as worried as he'd been with Maureen and Kathleen. Elizabeth was his baby girl, cautious and intelligent. She was almost sixteen, and the boy had been her friend practically since kindergarten.
Jason came from a good family, a family they knew, and Elliot knew he would treat Elizabeth with all the respect she deserved and more.
Kathy found it amusing that he wasn't nearly as worried about Elizabeth as he'd been with Kathleen or even Maureen, but he just shrugged.
Maybe he was just softening up.

Almost twenty years after Maureen brought her first boyfriend home, Elliot thought he was done. He and Kathy split up, but remained on good terms. She was the mother of five of his children, after all. And most of those years weren't bad.
Now he was remarried, to a woman he had taken a bullet for. A woman he would gladly die for without even blinking. After his children, there was no one he loved more than her.
"Daddy?"
Elliot looked up from his paper, at a pair of large doe eyes. Isabella was five and looked more like her mother every day. He loved each of his children, but like Maureen was his first, Kathleen was his wild child, Elizabeth was his baby and Richard and Eli were his boys, Isabella was also uniquely special to him. She was his miracle child, the child all the doctors predicted he and his wife would never conceive.
He smiled warmly at her. "Hi, baby." After Eli, he had thought he was done. But when he married Olivia, he knew that she needed one more thing to make her complete. A baby of her own. And he was determined to give her one.
Isabella bashfully toed the floor. "Guess what?"
He reached out and gently drew her closer. He knew how special she was, and how lucky they were to have her. And he would never take her existence for granted. "What, baby?"
"I got a boyfriend!"
The End.
