Author's note: this piece of fluff popped into my head last night and I had to get it out. It's a silly little one shot. I own nothing except my grammar errors (please don't sue me EA)

Gail loved video games, it wasn't a secret, everyone knew it. They knew she liked to kick ass and take names as the reigning champion of 15 division. What they didn't know, however, is that Holly also loved video games. Holly and Gail loved very different types of video games; Holly loved simulation games and board games, Gail was definitely a first person shooter kind of girl. There was one exception to the rule thought, the Sims. Gail never understood the point of the game until Holly came home with a copy of the Sims 4 on release day. She immediately installed it and waited the two hours for the mandatory EA server download, which of course gave Gail two hours to have her way with Holly. After their brief (for their standards) bedroom escapade Holly ran into the living room where her laptop was sitting. Gail decided to take a shower and leave Holly to her stupid game where no one got shot and there was no winner. Gail couldn't see the point in playing a game where there was no winner.

It took Holly ten minutes to create her sims and place them into a house. She promptly made the two sims friends and then began the flirting process. After about two minutes, the two sims were making out. Holly laughed at how easy it all was in the virtual world. Holly then gave both sims jobs, one in science and one in law enforcement. Holly then began to build them a lovely home, of course she cheated a little and gave them a cash boost with the ever famous motherlode cheat. Holly smiled as she made the house for her two sims.

Gail came bounding down the stairs and plopped onto the sofa next to Holly. She looked over at the two sims on the screen and rolled her eyes. Holly had of course made replicas of herself and Gail.

"Holly if that's what you think we look like maybe you need different glasses." Gail of course knew the on screen characters were pretty damn close to their real life counterparts, but she always felt the need to tease the doctor about her nerdy things.

"I can always make Gail's head bigger if that's what you think she needs." Holly shot back and smirked.

"Whatever, Nerd." Gail said failing to come up with a suitable comeback.

"What do you think, should they try for a kid?" Holly asked as she manoeuvred into Gail's lap, leaning back into the blond.

"Can they do that?" Gail asked.

"Gail, it's the sims, they can do whatever you want them to do. You want to give it a try?" Holly offered the laptop to Gail.

Gail sighed and said, "Alright, if it'll make you happy."

And that's how Gail became hooked on the sims and spent all of her free time over the next three weeks telling mini Gail and Holly what to do. Gail designed a sprawling house with three floors, a game room that was loaded, a giant library with eight bookcases for sim Holly, four rooms for the seven sim kids, Sophie of course got her own room. There was also a giant pool and a hot tub for when Gail made the sim Gail and sim Holly wahoo outside. Gail had plunged her mind so into the game she had downloaded it onto her phone and played it when she rode in the passenger seat of the squad car during shift.

The third week of Gail's obsession is when Holly finally hit the breaking point, Gail had called Holly over to look at the screen, sim Gail had just been promoted to a super secret agent and Gail wanted to show Holly. Holly rolled her eyes and took the laptop from Gail's grasp. Before Gail could react Holly shut down the game and had started to uninstall it. Gail's protests were cut off by Holly stripping down to just her under garments and walking towards the bedroom. Gail wasn't upset in the slightest at having the game taken away from her, sim Holly was fun to boss around, but real Holly was far more satisfying.
