Remus jogged to catch up with Lily. "Hey, wait up, I'm not that ugly, am I?" he grinned.
Lily smiled back. "Of course not."
"James isn't too bad either, eh, Lily? Nice hair and glasses and all," Remus questioned casually.
"If you put it that way, I guess not," Lily murmured back.
"Oh, come on, he's great!" Remus enthused.
"Remus, is anything wrong?" Lily asked, stopping to face him.
Remus stopped, too. "No?"
"Then why do you keep going on and on about James? It's kind of creepy. Do you... Fancy him?" Lily finished, somewhat disgusted.
Remus just stared at her. Then he scowled. "JAMES! This is SO not worth a bar of chocolate! I mean, being gay is fine, but she thinks I FANCY you! If you want to brag, do it yourself!"
There was a rustle of sound and James appeared, a sheepish expression on his face. "Hey, Lily," he muttered.
Lily looked amused. "Did you really make poor Remus do this? If it's ego inflating you want, you could've asked."
"Humor me, then," James smiled. Unnoticed, Remus began to return to the Gryffindor common room.
Lily purred, "You're hot, you have a great body, you're nice, you're smart, and you're a downright amazing kisser." She stepped forward as she talked, saying the last words right against his lips.
"You're not t-too bad yourself," James murmured, blushing at the closeness between himself and Lily. "Wait, are you trying to make me forget about missing that last Quidditch match?"
Lily smirked, and when she ground her hips against his, he found he suddenly didn't care about Quidditch at all.
