Listening to the soft tapping of rain on the window sill, while reading a book was one of her favorite things to do. I t seemed to calm her down after being with him all day.
The 'him' she is referring to is her husband who she was forced to marry by her father. Her husband beat her almost every day the agony she felt was horrible. It felt like being stabbed a million times a second and to have the feeling of blood dripping down her back just made it worse.
She had to leave, but how? He had people guarding her whenever he wasn't with her. It felt as though she was prisoner trapped in a jail cell 24-7 and 7-days a week. She also didn't have her wand. He took it away from her after they were married he said 'he was afraid she may hurt him'. He had every right to be afraid because she had her wand he would be as good as dead.
The echo of soft foot steps made her loose concentration. As they grew louder she looked around the room for a place to hide. What she found was better. She ran towards it and just as she got to it the door opened. Quickly she raised and was about to do what she wanted to do for a while. But unfortunately for her, her husband shouted "Accio Knife" The knife flew out of her hands and at the same moments all her dreams of leaving here were gone.
Her husband looked to the guards and said "Take her to the dungeons and make sure there are no weapons near her. We don't want her to get hurt, do we?" Te guards replied with a quick 'no' and took her to the dungeons but not before she shouted "You'll never get away with this!" he just laughed coldly as she sunk into the darkness of the dungeons.
Miles away a young boy woke up. His green eyes were filled with tears. And his mind was full of questions he would never be able to answer or so he thought.
