Izuku let out a cold breath as fall seemed to be at it's coldest. His soft breaths panted as the air around his lips began a foggy haze. He was so tired. Tired of the discrimination, tired of the bullies, tired of Bakugou constantly putting him down. He just wanted to end it, and finally have a bit of closure. He pushed open a heavy metal door that revealed a roof without a protective fence around it. His footsteps felt like cement as he walked closer towards the edge until his eyes met a head filled with scruffy red head. Tears flowing from his eyes as he clung to his knees as if to hug himself. He kept muttering to himself something that Izuku didn't believe "Why am I so worthless. I couldn't even protect her" the boy said as Izuku walked from behind him.
"Worthless huh?" Izuku said softly taking a seat next to him his legs hanging off the edge of the ten story building "I'm sure you tried your hardest to protect them. Why are you here?" Izuku questioned as the man raised his head looking towards Izuku drops of tears streaming down his cheeks "WHAT DO YOU KNOW! YOU DON'T KNOW PAIN!" The boy screamed in Izuku's face. Izuku gave a compassion filled smile towards him as his lips parted slowly.
"I don't know your pain. You're right I only know my own" Izuku said with a calm tone "I know what it feels like to have your mother look down on your dreams, I know what rejection is, I know how it feels to have your best friend betray you and bully you for years" Izuku said softly "But I don't know what it's like to quit trying to save people" Izuku said softly as his hands rested on his lap "I'm a quirkless loser. The bottom of the barrel, I'm beaten almost every day by my class mates and ridiculed, but I've never gave up on trying to be a hero for others" Izuku explained with a soft smile as the red haired boy began to wipe away his tears.
"H-How can you be so okay with this" the boy asked staring down "Being unable to help the people close to you" The boy question softly as Izuku spoke up in an instant "You do whatever you can of course" Izuku explained softly "Even if you get beat up, even if it hurts, even if you cry by the end. You never stop trying to be the best hero you can" Izuku explained softly "Then again what do I know" Izuku said softly pulling out a burn note book "I'm just a hero fan boy after all... I came up here to escape from this life. Hoping eventually I'd be reborn with a quirk" Izuku said as he was pulled into a tight hug from the red haired boy.
"PLEASE DON'T!" The boy screamed still holding Izuku tightly "Even if they bully you, even if you don't have a quirk..." The red head boy said with a loud tone, his words echoed into Izuku's head as he'd heard it all before from his mother. "I'll still be your friend... Just please don't jump" The boy said with a softer tone as Izuku gave him a sad smile "But I'll get you secluded from your friends. You might accept me, but others never will" Izuku said pushing the boy away "Just remember that sometimes your life isn't so bad, try looking at others and thinking what they might be going through" Izuku said with a soft tone as he stood putting his shoes on "I wont go today, I'm glad we had this talk... Hero" Izuku said with a forced smile before leaving the roof as his steps felt lighter for some reason. He slowly paced a few blocks before finally heading home and falling onto his bed. Looking at his calendar he noticed something off. His weekend seemed to end tomorrow as a look of depression and fear over came his face. "Well... Guess I should sleep" Izuku said softly falling onto his bed as he began to sleep and a soft glow seemed to emanate from his body.
