It was the start of a new year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and
wizardry. All ready Ron and Harry had fallen behind on their homework and
where spending the first weekend of the school year trying to over come it.
"Herm, what's the answer too question five in the transfiguration homework?", Ron asked Hermione hoping that she would give him an answer.
"And why, may I ask should I help you? If you just listen to the teacher when she was going over the homework then you would have known", said Hermione knowing if she was going to spend the rest of her day in the common room she would be asked questions every five minutes.
"That's all very good Hermione", said Ron not getting the point of what she had said, "So, back on the subject, what's the answer?"
Hermione just groaned and pick up her books, "I'm going to the library to start on the transfiguration essay"
"But, that's not to be in for a month", said Ron with utter shock in his voice.
"Well unlike some people I know", Hermione said and gave a stern look at Ron, "I do my homework first thing, even if it hasn't to be handed in for a month", and with that Hermione marched out of the common room.
Hermione entered the library picked out a transfiguration book and sat on a desk reading it.
"Hi Hermione", said a sweet voice in Hermiones ear and she turned her head to see how it was but just groaned and went back to her book as soon as she noticed it was Draco Malfoy.
"What do you want Malfoy", asked Hermione "If your going to make fun of me about being muggle born just get it over and done with"
"Oh I wouldn't call you names any more, I came here to ask you something", Draco replied still in a soft, sweet voice.
"What?!", said Hermione ignoring Draco's sweet voice.
"I was wondering, if you... you would go out with me", he stuttered.
"What!!!", said Hermione in disbelief, "Is this one of your cruel, nasty jokes?! Well it's not funny!"
"It's not a joke", he said, and then he came back to his sense and suddenly said, "What's the point, I should of never of came here, I should of known you would of never gone out with my even if I was the last person on earth. Well now you can go and tell your little friends Potter and Weasley and have a right laugh", Draco turned to exit the library.
"What shouted Hermione after him and Draco stopped and turned around. "I don't why but I love you too", Hermione said as she looked at her feet.
"You do?", asked Draco in disbelife. He ran to Hermione lifted her up and spun her around finally putting her down as if a fragile flower and kissed her on the check which left Hermione looking dazed. "I love you too", he wispered in her ear "Too much for words", and with that Draco left the library and a dazed looking Hermione.
