Pain

Pain

Authors Note: Why my creative spark? Cause! I'm good at poetry and I like to write! DUH!

Rachel took out a pen and a piece of paper. She began to jot down her thoughts.

I feel your presence here,

Deep down inside,

It's just my imagination that tell me you're here,

But that feeling…I just can't hide,

I feel a drift of loneliness,

As I cry myself to sleep,

Loneliness aches away at my broken heart,

Like a secret I cannot keep,

I feel my pain deep within,

It ignites fear, sadness,

And a realization that this could be the end,

I just know you never left us,

Hanging on,

My love goes away,

Like the early sun of dawn.

Rachel looks at the paper, rips it in half and sends the broken pieces out the window and spiraling into space.

Deep, huh? Well, review already. What??? You pressing the back button? You can't do that. Uh-huh. I don't care about some contract that says…hey, that's your handwriting! COME BACK HERE! Oh, well. You're still here, right? You're reviewing? Oh happy day!
