These Eyes of Olive Green

My heart has seen many colors,
With the aide of these eyes of olive green.
It has seen the tint of love, a light scarlet,
The shade of hatred, a black darker than a thousand nights,
The lovely hue of friendship, a cheerful cerulean,
And the burning flame of jealousy, a deep ginger.
All of these revolve around two people,
The lavender haired beauty of which my heart beats for,
And the deep plum haired boy who has threatened my life.
When I see them together, the color blue is brightest,
As well as the flame of jealously mixing with the ashes of hatred in my heart.
I have seen him kiss her goodnight, with a pulsating aura of red emitting from them both.
Once more, Black erupts from my soul and feeds the flame.
The pasty color blue of embarrassment holds me from showing her my own shade of crimson
The aged color gray around her is deeper than mine, could this also be a reason?
Or maybe the bright tint of yellow is holding me back, telling me that she wouldn't accept me.
I don't know, but her eyes of Amber seem to tell me everything's alright without even knowing what ails me.
The colors emerald, pink, and azure try the same, but with no luck.
Their eyes aren't soft amber like hers that heal my soul.
With her lies the most beautiful shade of cobalt in the world,
And the deepest shade of burgundy, the color of my heart when she is near.
Maybe I cannot stop the shades of purple from joining as one someday,
But I can always keep the red in my heart when I see her, not even plum can interfere.
