I glance up in the sky,
Watching the clouds above,
I see a single hawk flying through the sky,
It is Tobias, my love,
I look at the ground,
I see a figure and wisp of gold,
I recognize this person,
It is Rachel, beautiful and bold,
I stare up at the sky,
As the hawk goes round and round,
I know what he is doing,
But oddly, he isn't landing on the ground,
I am not coming to see my love,
So beautiful and true,
I can't see her today,
Or hear her voice too,
I am but a human,
He is but a bird,
He has his differences and I mine,
But together we'll over come them and together we will learn,
I must go Rachel,
For too long I have stayed,
Together we will see each other,
But only not today,
Good bye, Tobias
I love you so,
I want us to be together again,
That you already know,
It's been a while since he's been gone,
Maybe even years,
I cried and cried when I heard the new that I had feared,
Tobias wasn't coming home,
Now that he is gone,
After he had left me that fine day,
I over this I still cry,
Tobias was hurt and soon after that he died,
But his spirit still lives on,
Somewhere, anywhere,
But remember this and this only,
