Hey, so I wrote the original version of this for my English class (we had to bring in a juicy image and then select another classmate's at random before writing a narrative about it; see if you can guess what image I got - hint: it's not one that a girl would bring in). Of course, 'Sam' was 'Tom', they were in an actual house (not a motel), and I went with 'Mom' instead of 'Dad', but that's basically all of the changes that I made. Oh, and then I added one last line for this one. :)

Anyway, I do not own Supernatural.

I hope you enjoy!

An Iconic American Image

"What are you doing?"

Dean jumped at the sound of his younger brother's voice, slamming his laptop shut. "What are you doing?" The sixteen year old retorted. "You're supposed to be in bed, Sammy."

"It's Sam, Dean, you know that. Sammy was a little kid. And I thought Dad said you're not allowed to look at stuff like that?"

The older boy rolled his eyes, but still glanced over to their room's door. Like always, they were staying in a motel, but the eldest Winchester was finishing the last bit of research needed to complete the hunt. Thankfully for Dean, the research needed was at the library - which meant that he himself had claim to the family laptop. Similar to the several previous times that Dean had cast a look while listening for the Impala's telltale engine, there was no sight or sound of the car.

"What Dad doesn't know won't hurt him," Dean muttered. "Now leave me alone, munchkin. You've got your own bed."

Sam shook his head, brown hair flopping back and forth even as his eyes widened and a pout formed on his lips. "I wanna stay here."

"You're too old for pouting," Dean pointed out. "And no."

"I'll tell Dad that you were looking at those pictures again."

"Beyoncé is an iconic American image," The older teen huffed. "What she wears isn't my choice to make."

"There's no way Dad will buy that, Dean. And it's more like what she wasn't wearing."

"She had a shirt on."

Sam sighed, his eyes glaring at the laptop. "I'm pretty sure shirts aren't supposed to be that short. Now I can stay here, or Dad'll learn just what you think of Beyoncé."

"You wouldn't."

"You know I would," Sam countered. "Your choice."

"You do realize blackmailing is illegal," Dean grumbled as he made room for his little brother on the bed.

"Maybe," Sam agreed, "But you are pretty gullible."

Nope, Dean thought. It's your damn puppy dog eyes.

AN: Alright, so I hope you guys enjoyed! And please review! This is only my second Supernatural fanfic, so I'm anxious to hear what people think.
