The young girl cradled a boy in her arms, before laying him down on the rock, placing a hand behind his head.
"Wake up Aang!" Katara said in a worried tone to the unconscious Avatar lying in front of her.
She couldn't believe she had let him ride the unagi. He could've gotten himself killed!
He would have died thinking you didn't care- and who knows, maybe he will die after all...
A voice in her head murmured. She shook the thought away. She shouldn't be thinking like that, because it couldn't happen. Aang couldn't die. Yet...here he was now, lying in front of her, not breathing, and it was all her fault, as the voice in her head reminded her.
It was then, whilst she mentally berated herself, that the idea came to her.
She quickly moved her hand above his chest up to his face, hovering it above his mouth. She curved her fingers and drew her hand up, and to her great relief a stream of water followed her hand up until it left Aang completely.
He coughed and sputtered, and she felt a great heaviness ease up over her heart.
"Katara..." he said her name softly and opened his eyes.
She smiled and looked fondly upon the boy who she had just saved, only one thought in her head.
Thank goodness he's alive...

His eyes opened slowly to, in his opinion, the best thing to ever wake up to. Her face.
"Katara..." he whispered, voice still a little shaky and weak.
He saw her smile that wonderful, loving smile of hers and a million thoughts went through his mind.
Okay, the young Avatar thought, I have her attention- now what should I say?
Thank you, Katara for saving my life.
Thank you for caring, Katara.
Katara, you have no idea how much you mean to me.
He settled instead, for something much simpler.
"Don't ride the unagi...not fun."

Authors Note- Bleh. Don't ask where the heck I pulled this from...I was just watching Warriors of Kyoshi and this idea came to me so I wrote it down...didn't come out like I thought it would, so I'm sorry for posting this crap. –dies-
I'll probably re-write it someday; I just wanted to get the basic idea down before I forgot it. So yeah.
