I'll Be Missing You

It's hard to let go of something or someone that means so much to you, and no matter how many tears you cry it won't bring them back.

It just seems like only yesterday,
that you were running around having fun.
You always looked so happy,
when you were under the nice, warm sun.

No matter how much pain you went through,
you always had a blast.
Now that you're gone, it hurts,
but my memories will always last.

At times you hated me,
at times you loved me too.
Even though you're gone,
I will always love you.

Now I sit here crying,
because you passed away in my arms.
But now you're free from pain,
free from any type of harm.

Every morning when I get up,
I know that you won't be there.
You leaving us now,
is more than I can bare.

I look up and smile,
knowing that you're free from pain.
You're soul is carried to Heaven,
like going to Georgia on the midnight train.

I do believe in Heaven,
and I know that you're there too.
I just want you to know that everyday,
I will be missing you.
