Cat Versus Rat, a one-shot
"Tohru!"
"Honda-san!"
The two cousins, one with red hair and the other with purplish hair, ran up to the poor girl who was standing at the stove in the kitchen waiting for the teapot to whistle. She looked at the two boys of the Zodiac starting to worry. "Yes?"
"Hug me now!" they both chorused at the same time.
Tohru frowned and raised her arms but hesitated at the last moment. "Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"Well, okay…" She hugged the Sohma cousins and watched their clothes fall to the floor. A cat and a rat emerged from the clothes and darted through the door. Being the fastidious housekeeper, Tohru picked up their clothes and draped them over her arm. Kyou and Yuki would want them when they changed back.
The cat and rat darted outside and to opposite sides of the lawn where groups of cats and rats faced each other. Kyou took up position in front of the cat group and Yuki in front of the rat group. They faced each other and a yell went up on both sides.
"CHARGE!"
On that yell the two groups clashed into the other fighting. Kyou and Yuki wrestled among the group hissing and squeaking, but before they couldn't do much harm they changed back to human, naked among the cats and rats. The two Sohmas looked at each other and blushed crimson running inside.
Tohru stood at the door and averted her eyes as they came up to her holding out her arms. "I thought you would want these clothes," she said shyly.
"Thanks," they mumbled taking the clothes and running to their rooms arguing. Tohru smiled softly and her eyes widened when the teapot whistled. Her mind left what just happened and went back to the stove to finish making tea.
