the girls: 15

CHAPTER ONE
One day Serena was walking to the crown for a milkshake and to meet the girls. she heard the familliar whoosh of the automatic doors as she walked through them. Se spotted her friends in their normal booth by the window.
"Hey girls!" Serena said.
"Finally! took you long enough meatball head" Raye said.
" Sorry Raye, Ms. H kept me for a detention, and I was only 30 minutes late!" Serena replied
" Hey guys stop the bickering and get along for noce." Lita told the two.
"Yeah you guys, lets talk about the graduation dance this friday?" Mina asked the group
"yeah, like who you going with Mina?" Serena asked her
"oh no one" Mina replied with a faint blush on her face.
"fess up girl, we all want to know!" Lita told Mina
"well, okay. I'm going with Andrew." Mina now had a full blush accross her face.
"aww that sooo romantic!" Raye told her
"I know! I can't wait for friday!"
"when did he ask you Mina?" Amy asked her
"he asked my last week, while i was waiting for you guys to get here.
"So, who are you guys going with?" Mina asked the group.
"There's this one guy named Ken who lives in my building, he asked me so I'm going with him." Lita told them
"Chad asked me, you know the guy who lives at my granpa's shrine? So I'm going with him." Raye said
"Well, this cute boy named Greg asked me, and I'm going to accept and go with him." Amy told the group.
"Way to go Amy!" serena screamed.
"Shut up Meat-Ball head we can hear you from over here." Darien yelled from the other side of the arcade, where he was talking to Andrew.
"Shut up Darien we were talking about the dance untill you interuppted." Serena yelled at Darien.
"OH MY GOD! I told my mom I would go grocery shopping with her and now I'm late!" A screaming Serena said
"See you later Serena!" the girls called after her as she ran out the arcade.
"hey, she didnt't tell us who she was going with?" Lita told the girls.
"who knows who meat ball head is going with, probibly no one." Raye said.
"Raye don't be mean." Amy told her.
"Oh well, we will ask her later" Mina said.
later that day at the Crown Arcade
"Hey Drew." Darien said
"Hey Darien. So when are you going to ask Serena to the dance the dance on friday?" Andrew asked
"I'm not sure man I mean evertime I open my mouth I say somthing totally opposite then what i want to." Darien told him
"Just be nice, hey man here she comes, ask her now!" And told him.
"Hey Serena, umm, are you going to the dace with anyone?" Darien asked her.
"No, why?" Serena said.
"would you like to go with me?" Darien asked.
"Sure I guess, I have nothing better to do." Serena told him
"Alright, Can I have your phone number so we can exchange details for the dance?"
"sure it's 555-719-5160. call me around nine O'clock okay Darien?" She asked him
"okay Serena and thank you." Darien said to her.
"Thank you," She asked "what for?"
"for going with me, and im sorry for saying any mean things I've said to you." Darien said
"thank you for the aplogy, and i can't wait to go on friday with you!" Serena told him
Then out of nowhere, Serena leaned up and gave him a small kiss on the corner of his mouth. Then she spun on her heel and ran out the door.
"wow, i think she likes you man." Andrew told Darien.
"yeah" darien wispered to himself as he walked out the door.
