Forgiveness/Future
Pearl POV
There we were, stuck in a box together. The box kept getting smaller, and even though I didn't wanna die, my heart jumped when we got real close. What she said to me made me melt. I've never been in such a desperate moment with anyone before. I needed to take everything in and understand what she was saying, so I can get her back. Is it even possible for her to trust me though? I guess I'll find out soon.
*During those 'couple seconds' Garnet and Pearl were gone.* 3rd person
Garnet grabbed Pearl's arm right before she went out of the barn, and pulled her back in.
"Ahhhg, oh Garnet. You scared me."
"Pearl, I need to talk to you."
Pearl began to feel nervous, "what is it?"
"When you stood up to Peridot, that was really strong of you."
"Hehe, you think so?" Pearl looked at her twiddling thumbs, " I couldn't have done it without you."
"I'm proud of you Pearl, you've grown so fast." Garnet kissed Pearl on the cheek. She smiled at Pearl and leaned in for a kiss. Then, a loud crash interrupts them and they run out of the barn to see what's awaiting them.
*Future Garnet POV*
Homeworld is finally outside of the picture, corrupted gems are taken care of, and everyone is safe and sound. We have all the time in the world to raise steven and have fun family time. And, I can have private time with Pearl. We spend lots of time in Sapphire 's room. It's blue which I'd very appealing to Pearl, and it's cold so we won't get too hot when 'things get heated'. We've gone through a lot as a family and a couple. Steven loves it, Amethyst was a little bothered at first but has grown to like it, and the other Gems don't care. It's honestly a dream come true. There is no gem luckier than me.
