It was raining, which was unusual for Storybrooke. With the curse broken, you'd think it would always be sunny and happy. Still, drops of rain fell across the town, and showered Storybrooke citizens as they dashed off into their homes. On the port, the Jolly Roger rocked dangerously with the waves, but it was nothing compared to the waves in the open seas. Its deck was empty save for a pirate, who was leaning on the board despite the weather. His head was facing the sky, and with closed eyes he let the rain wash over him. There was a noise from the docks, and though the pirate did not open his eyes, he addressed it.

"And what would bring her majesty out in such a downpour?"

"It's Madame Mayor here, Hook."

"Ah, yes. Still, if it's all the same to you, I prefer to address you with your proper title."

She didn't say anything. He waited, knowing that she'll start to present her new plan or a deal that would tempt him to her side.

"Shouldn't you be off to Neverland by now?"

"Shouldn't you be stealing hearts of the town boys?" Hook smirks, knowing how much she despised the townspeople.

"There is no one left to take. Maybe I should try taking yours, if you had one."

Now Hook opened his eyes and moved his face away from the rain. His smirk disappeared and he raised his hook ready for the attack. When none came, and his heart seemed to still be intact, he took a glance at the Queen.

She was standing on the docks next to his boat but wasn't facing him. Wearing a black coat, it didn't seem to keep her warm from the cold weather. The Queen's shoulders were stiff, and she was holding her arms in contempt but her eyes were not with him. She was gazing at the town. He followed the direction of her gaze and spotted Granny's diner. Its lights were glowing faintly in the rain, but he could still see the people moving in there.

"It seems the town's people are having a party." Hook says, and waits for the Queen's anger. He wasn't sure if she was still after his heart. With the rain still falling, at least her fireballs won't work.

"Yes, they are all in their own little world. I'd imagine Henry is with them too." She replies, but there is no anger in her voice, only calmness. He doesn't know why, but that irritated him abit.

"Ah, the little boy. Why haven't you already taken him, and killed off the Swan girl?" He asks her curiously. In another time, he could imagine this problem would already been solved by the Queen. She was always quick in her actions.

"Because to him, I'm only the Evil Queen. He'll never love me." There was something wrong with her voice. Hook wondered why it took him so long to notice that. She finally turns to him and he sees her. He sees her eyes and how they're full of tears. She was crying.

"Regina – "

"Is that any way to address your Queen?" Finally, a spark of anger that momentarily stops the tears. Her eyes are a blazed, and Hook recognizes a part of the old Queen in this figure, despite her short hair and wet clothes. She looked beautiful.

"Sorry, your Majesty. I won't make that same mistake again, unless you want me to." He tells her. He knows he's treading dangerous grounds, but he just couldn't help himself with teasing her.

Regina looks like she's about to reply, but then ignores him and doesn't say anything. She doesn't bring up Henry; she doesn't bring up her threat to Hook's heart. Without any word, she just starts walking away from the Jolly Roger.

She storms off and doesn't look back as she heads to her car. Despite the rain, Hook stays out longer to watch her leave, and wonders how to get that spark of anger back again into her.
