(SCENE TWO: THE TUMBLER, THE BAT-POD AND THE BAT ENTER THE BAT-CAVE. BATMAN GETS OUT OF THE TUMBLER, AND TAKES HIS COWL OFF TO REVEAL HIS FACE. HE TAKES HIS SUIT OFF, THEN CHANGES INTO A FORMAL SUIT. ALFRED COMES IN)
Alfred: Master Wayne? There's somebody here to see you.
Bruce: Who is it?
Alfred: His name is Nick Fury. He wants to see Master Blake and Master Grayson as well.
Bruce: Tell him we're on our way.
Alfred: Very well sir.
(ALFRED GOES BACK UP TO WAYNE MANOR. DICK AND JOHN COME OVER)
John: Who wants to see us?
Bruce: Some guy named Nick Fury.
Dick: I've heard of him. Apparently he is very high up in the government organisation called SHIELD. He is also the director of The Avengers Initiative. Those two guys we met earlier, Captain America and Iron Man, AKA Steve Rogers and Tony Stark are apart of it.
Bruce: Well let's go meet them.
(THEY GO UP TO WAYNE MANOR. THEY WALK TO THE SITTING ROOM TO FIND NICK FURY, TONY STARK AND STEVE ROGERS WAITING FOR THEM)
Nick: Bruce Wayne, John Blake and Dick Grayson. It is truly a pleasure to meet you.
Bruce: Pleasure to meet you too Mr Fury.
Nick: You've already met my associates, Captain Rogers and Mr Stark.
Bruce: Yeah. They gave us some help earlier.
(BRUCE, JOHN AND DICK SIT DOWN.)
Nick: Now the reason I am here. I had an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people. I named it 'The Avengers Initiative.' Eventually I succeeded with this plan, and I had a team of heroes. They battled for earth against a demi-god named Loki. We won that battle, but a greater threat has risen.
(NICK SHOWS BRUCE, JOHN AND DICK SOME PHOTOS. EACH HAS A DIFFERENT PERSON ON IT. LOKI, JOKER, TWO-FACE, RIDDLER, SINESTRO, SCARECROW, LEX LUTHOR, VENOM AND RED SKULL EACH APPEAR IN THE PHOTOS.)
Bruce: You guys have a very big problem on your hands. This is very important to us, and we will do our utmost to help you.
Nick: Thank you. You do realize that this is of international importance.
Bruce: Well get in contact with us when you need us and we will be there as soon as we can.
Nick: Actually we were wondering if you would come with us now.
Tony: This threat has already grown far beyond anything we anticipated.
Steve: We can't strike at them yet, but we need you now.
(BRUCE TAKES OFF HIS GLASSES. HE LOOKS AT DICK AT JOHN. THEY NOD AT HIM)
Bruce: We'll do it.
Nick: Excellent. If you would follow me.
Bruce: Give us a second to get our stuff from the bat-cave.
Tony: We've already had your equipment taken to our headquarters.
John: Right then. I guess we're coming with you.
Bruce: Have you got in contact with our other associates?
Nick: We're working on that.
