"Do you ever miss it?" Duchess asks one night.
"What?"
"All your travels." Her tail whisks. "All the new places and faces."
"No, never."
"Really?" she queries, curling into their bed.
"Absolutely," he vows. "Duchess, darrrling," he purrs, green eyes gazing solemnly into hers, "you, our love, and raising our family together will always be the most wonderful and exciting things ever to happen to me. There's nothing else I'd rrrather do."
She beams at him, her blue eyes sparkling with her love and happiness. He lovingly licks her face. They curl together, him still licking her, and purr their contentment and joy.
