It was a rainy day at the apartment. George the monkey lived with The Man With the Yellow Hat in the apartment. George filled through the channels with the remote control to see what was on TV. So far, nothing interested him. Suddenly, George saw a TV show about some kids playing in a house. The kids then went upstairs to the attic to play hide and seek.
"Ooooh" George said, now interested in the TV show that he was watching. The kids in the show were playing in the attic, but one of them hide under a bed sheet and got stuck under it. While the kids played the game however, the sheet covered kid struggled under the bed sheet, causing his friends to think he was a ghost. The kids in the show screamed and ran as the ghost chased them.
"Oooooh oooo ahhhhh!" George cried out as he watched the kids and "ghost" on the screen. It was spooky!
George kept watching the show as the kids ran away from the ghost, until the bed sheet was thrown off revealing the kid's friend. The kids then laughed and continued to play, and soon, the TV show ended.
"Ooooooo!" George said, happy about the show that he had just watched. In fact, that got George thinking, and he wanted to see what fun things were in HIS attic. He then ran to The Man with the Yellow Hat's bedroom and said "Ooooh ahhh!"
"Hi George. What did you want to do?" The Man with the Yellow Hat asked, looking up from his book. Of course, The Man wasn't wearing his yellow hat; it was on the hat rack.
"Oooooh. Oooo ahhhhh!" George said, pointing to the ceiling.
"You want to paint the ceiling?" The Man with the Yellow Hat asked. George shook his head and pointed to the ceiling again.
"Oh, you want to go up to the attic?" The Man with the Yellow Hat asked curiously.
"Ahhhhh! Ahhhh!" George replied, nodding his head. The Man with the Yellow Hat giggled.
"Okay George. Hold on," The Man with the Yellow Hat said before he got out of bed. The Man then grabbed a flashlight, and pulled down the rope in the main hallway which lead to the attic. Once that was done, both George and The Man with the Yellow Hat went up to the attic, turned on the lights, and closed the door to the opening to the attic.
"Oooooh" George said in awe as he looked around the attic. There were boxes, objects covered in bed sheets, and other items. The Man with the Yellow Hat looked around too, interested to see what there was. Most of the items in the attic hadn't been seen in a long time. The Man with the Yellow Hat used the flashlight to see what stuff was.
Suddenly, the wind blew through an open window. The sheets in the attic fluttered and swayed in the wind, making it a little scary. Lightning flashed, scaring George a bit.
"Ooooh..." George said in concern. The swaying bed sheets in the attic looked like ghosts. Suddenly, The Man with the Yellow Hat tripped.
"Oof!" The Man with the Yellow Hat exclaimed as he tripped. The flashlight that The Man was using then rolled away on the floor towards where George was. Then, a just after he tripped, a big, white, bed sheet slid off of a pile of boxes, and fell right on top of The Man With the Yellow Hat.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" The Man with the Yellow Hat cried out as the white bed sheet fell on him. The Man with the Yellow Hat couldn't see or get out as he struggled under the bed sheet.
George heard The Man's cry, then grabbed the flashlight that was near him, and looked around. What was that noise?
