This idea I've had for a while :) I know I have tons of stories out, almost finished with A Reaper's Revenge and I plan on finishing Kidnapped too! But I really wanted to get this out

Reid didn't like investigating his old high school. Only Hotch knew it was his old school and he said normally he'd have Reid stay out of it but they needed Reid's mind in this matter.

He sometimes hated his mind. Walking down the halls gave an uncomfortable flood of memories. Morgan noticed the discomfort on Reid's face.

"You okay, kid?"

Reid swallowed. He didn't need another lecture or even just a heart to heart about the past. He wanted to forget the past. It was hard when he was thrusted back into it.

"I'm fine."

Morgan knew he was lying but decided not to press it.

So many uncomfortable memories.

The kids shoved against him, pushing him out of the way like he was invisible.

They beat him up for lunch money, and sometimes just for the hell of it. He never let his mother know what was really going on.

They laughed at him, ridiculed and humilated him every chance they got.

And the jocks were the worse.

Especially Charles Carter.

Reid shuddered at the name of Charles. He was the worst of them all. Reid would be happy if he never saw that man again. That...piece of scum.

Morgan noticed Reid's obvious discomfort but decided not to say anything. Reid would tell him at his own time. He almost always did.

Hotch noticed Reid's behavior as well when they joined the team.

"Did you find anything?"

Morgan shook his head.

"No. Not yet, but we'll keep on searching for more clues."

Hotch nodded.

"Reid?" He looked at the young man. Maybe sending him here was a mistake. It seemed like he was almost having a panic attack.

"Can I get some...air sir?"

Hotch slowly nodded. The team looked at Reid as he ducked out of the room.

"What's wrong with him?" Emily asked.

"I'm sure he's just feeling a little sick," Hotch said dismissivly. Morgan stared at him. it wasn't like Hotch to be so dismissive so he must know the reason but didn't want to spill Reid's secret.

Hotch sighed as he looked at the papers, hoping Reid would be able to work through whatever was eating at him.

Reid had to escape. Too many...just too much stuff happening. Too much at the same time. He couldn't think. He needed solitude to think, to reorginze his thoughts. He paced back and forth in the alley.

Why was he so tense about coming back here? It's not like his old schoolmates were with him...why couldn't he escape that part of his past? Why couldn't he face it?

Why was he such a coward? He blinked back tears but froze as he heard footsteps.

"Spencer Reid? Spencer is that you?" A familiar voice asked in a taunting voice. He swallowed and his face paled. No...it couldn't be. "Come on, turn around! I want to see if it's you, Spencer!"

He felt the need to obey. There standing in front of him was Charles Carter and a group of his friends from high school...a group of old jocks.

Charles grinned, looking as sinister and mean as usual.

"It is you, Spencer!"He laughed. "And you haven't changed a bit. What are you doing here man?"

Reid grabbed his gun from his side pocket and tensed as the group stepped closer and closer and closer.
