My Harvest Moon

I came to the farm when my dad died,

They told me that it was a great farm,

When I got there I could see that they lied,

No animals, no crops, no fire alarm.

I was suppose to make this farm great,

Save the town and be a hero,

I had to find a girl that I could date,

Become a farmer instead of a zero.

I only had a year to do it all,

Help the townspeople with their issues,

Help a boy get back his ball,

Help a girl when she cries by bringing a tissue.

There was no way I could do it alone,

Then little sprites came along and said good day,

Were these men supposed to throw me a bone?

They took me to the little pond next to the bay.

In the pond lived a beautiful fairy,

She told me how to ride a horse and grow crops,

She told me to buy a cow to receive dairy,

And that when it rains watch the little drops.

She gave me the confidence to go on,

Save the farm and get a wife,

Help people named Timmy and Don,

Grow to be a farmer and have a happy life.

In a year I will save the farm,

With the help of the sprites and the beautiful fairy,

Soon we'll all link together arms in arm,

All townspeople will become merry.
