An one-shot based on Naru's return. :) Well, considering the fact that I write more number of heart breaking one-shots, I decided to do one nice one. Yay!

Mai clicked open the door slowly, her eyes looking at the ground. She looked around, raising her eyes. No sign of him.
"Naru, you aren't back...?" She asked the thin air. Mai bit her lower lip as she took the courage to go inside. The office was still the same. No one had rented it after it had been evacuated. Mai touched the soft chair where Naru used to sit. Mai smiled weakly. It was covered with dust. Another proof that he wasn't back yet.
"Idiot..." She whispered. She looked at the photo of the SPR members hanging on the wall. Mai smiled as she saw everybody ready for a click.
Bou-san was being hit by a persistent Ayako. Yasuhara was looking at them as if they were some weird animals. John was trying to calm them down, reminding them that there was a picture of them being taken. Masako clung to Naru's arm. Lin-san was glaring at the camera while Mai was laughing her heart out.
Mai let out a giggle as she remembered the forgotten memories.
"Who's there?" A voice asked, startling Mai. She stared at the familiar black clad figure staring back at her. "Mai...?"
"Naru?" Mai asked, equally surprised. Her eyes seemed to brighten up. "Is it really you?" He nodded. Mai smiled and ran to his side hugging him desperately.
"I missed you! You idiot!" Mai cried. Naru looked surprised. Mai stepped back and blushed. Her feeling hadn't disappeared since then. She felt the pain in her chest as he stared at her. The same feeling when he rejected her.
"Na-Naru! I decided! I-I'm prepared." Mai stuttered. He looked confused. "I have the answer!" He stared at her as she continued stuttering.
"Mai?" He asked. Mai looked away.
"I-I won't repeat it! So listen carefully." Mai took in a deep breath. "I-I love you narcissistic jerk! Not your twin! I have always loved you! I don't love your brother! I have feelings only for you! I only had eyes for you, so don't you damn say that I'm in love with your brothers smiles." She stopped for a while.
"I would rather prefer your fake smiles." She said finally, her face red with embarrassment. "And even if you reject me again, I'm going to chase you until death!" A smirk appeared on his face. He closed the distance between them. Mai shivered.
"Then, I will try and get caught by you." He whispered in her ears. Mai flushed as he looked at her with a satisfied smirk on his face.
"N-Naru!" Mai exclaimed. He pressed his lips lightly against hers.
"Idiot...I never planned to let go of you." He whispered in her ears.
